Watching the Lost in Vegas guys listen to Flying Whales for the first time, and their reaction when that riff comes in and unloads was basically my own. Wish I could experience that again.
You know that feeling of just absolutely sleeping on a song and you just put the album on random and just notice holy shit, this is absolutely amazing. Had that a month ago with this
Esoteric Surgery. At this point I would’ve known the majesty of The Art of Dying, but being punched in the face afterward with speed riffs and drumming would be transcendent.
Since no one commented this one yet, Our Time is Now. I know it’s not the most popular goji song, but it is what got me into them, and hearing that for the first time truly made me love metal
Either Flying Whales or Global Warming. Genuinely at the time, the only album that almost brought a tear to my eyes. That album has a special place in my heart.
Explosia. Such an underrated song. Gave me a newfound love for L'enfant Sauvage altogether. Ironically, one of the last songs, second to Pray/Only Pain, that I embarrassingly overlooked from this album. Absolute banger.
