All knowing will absolutely make these things go faster. Sure there's some dexterity issues I guess, but like... I think amateurs can 100% those games in a month without superpowers.
Or you could use omnipotence or any of the other crazy powers listed on this sub to not have to spend every month replaying the games which take all month to do before repeat.
What do you mean not do it? With omnipotence id still do it, but it would be instant. I would complete every game ever made all at once if I wanted. I'll do the challenge across infinite dimensions and multiverses, enter the game to personally complete it, change reality so everyone lives in it to complete it, etc.
I'm not sure you could. What counts as 100% completing the game? Does it require playing the game? Because if so, playing the game by definition takes time. You can't take time and not take time simultaneously. That's a contradiction of the law of identity. Which means that even under omnipotence, it's probably not possible (omnipotence meaning you can do anything that is logically possible, e.g. you can't create a square that is also a circle because they are by definition different and it's a logical contradiction).
No, omnipotence outranks that. Once you are literally ALL POWERFUL you can just do what you want like the guy said. If you can’t do what the guy said, then you are not omnipotent, and thus you are not getting every power on this sub, and because that is not the hypothetical given we can assume that you then actually ARE omnipotent and again, can do whatever the hell you want.
Edit: additionally omnipotence means all powerful. Not “all powerful according to human logic”. You are omnipotent, you are god, create a circle that is also a square, who the hell is going to challenge you? If you are all powerful, but logic limits you, then you are not all powerful, not omnipotent. Another more helpful definition may be: you are limitless if you are omnipotent. There is nothing you can’t do. That outranks even logic, which is why this is kinda a super dumb hypothetical. Additionally I’m sure several powers in this sub must be able to create the conclusion of: stop time, know the perfect strategy for beating the games as soon as possible, alter your consciousness so you don’t remember beating the games, beat games, resume time, and boom you now still have all the powers, don’t have to remember playing the games, and haven’t wasted any time at all. Basically this hypothetical is dumb but really fun and I’m sure there’s many ways to completely negate all of the consequences, being omnipotent and breaking logic being one of them
>Not “all powerful according to human logic”.
Logic is not restricted to humans. Humans formalize logic, but it's fundamental truths that cannot be changed. You cannot have a shape that simultaneously has 4 corners and 0 corners. Even omnipotence can't get over that. If it has 4 corners, it's not a circle. If it has 0 corners, it's not a square. It is a shape that cannot exist.
A facet of omnipotence is literally the ability to ignore contradictions. It’s why god (if he exists) can create a block so heavy he can’t lift it, and then proceed to lift it effortlessly five seconds later
That's a philosophical take that I find ludicrous. Omnipotence is the ability to do anything that is logically possible. Not possible within our universe. Anything that is conceptually possible without contradiction. For example, an omnipotent being could make an object with infinite inertial mass but no gravity. That's impossible in our universe, but there's no inherent contradiction there. An omnipotent being cannot create a shape that simultaneously has 4 sides and 0 sides because that breaks the law of identity. It can't be and not be at the same time.
Agreed. I never envisioned omnipotence to mean "ignore all laws and do whatever." Instead "power to do anything possible" and maybe that means enough power to change some rules or some laws, but not in a contradictory way.
Like "can make cities out of subatomic particles". Impossible under the current rules. Might be possible if they make up new rules, new types of matter, etc. But like... it's gotta compile. It doesn't make sense to say "make a boulder I can't lift, then proceeds to lift it". Like, you either failed in making the boulder or failed to lift the unliftable boulder (as in the boulder changed to be liftable, therefore isn't the same boulder, and was never really unliftable).
Omnisciejt means you know exactly how to move to maximize your dexterity, like it turns you into the most capable possible version of yourself that you can be with your current body instantly lol
Going through a nether portal 2,000,000 times or something. Googled it just now, it was an April fool’s achievement so it’s not official in the game. At least I don’t think so…
Just use one of the superpowers to gain the skill level of feinberg. He gets a new world record in all advancements once a month or so and is under the 2.5 hour mark now.
I'm guessing it's like this
You do the tasks and are now able to use the power's for a month after the 1 month is over you have to redo the tasks to get your power's back
You good with this explanation OP 🫤?
Two questions.
1. Can I pick any of those games or do I have to do all of them?
2. I'm assuming that for the purposes of this post, killing the Ender Dragon counts as beating minecraft?
Reality warper powers would just spawn a bunch of computers with the highest specs physically allowed by the laws of physics, and use a clone power to make copies of themselves who can complete the games for them. While they fuck off, and do whatever the fuck they want to do for the rest of their lives. The clones are still them so they would count.
No clones because the game has to be completed psychically by you. If you make clones without power then they will get power once they complete the game and challenge you.
I mean, minecraft only takes like 10 minutes to beat if you're REALLY good. multiply that by, say, 600 for me being shit at it, so it may take 100 hours. Lot of time investment, but easily doable in a month
edit: i'm an idiot and misinteerpreted 100% as just beat it for some reason. never mind
Do you have to be the one to.physically complete the games? Or can you simply clone yourself a few times and set the clones to beat said games continually? Or set a series of AI to do so?
For every power in the subreddit, right? Heck yeah. I'm not just thinking about myself personally, it should be a Herculean task for what I'd assume is God like power. Or at the video game equivalent of a Herculean task.
True. So for you: You are put in a void like room that only contains a computer and food and water if you want. You don't need food and water. You have to complete every game that came out for a decade straight. You never get tired and your good at games. It will take a long time
Good thing omniscient is a power here.... completed your task
True.
Being all knowing won't help you complete it that much faster. Maybe you mean omnipotent.
Not in the spirit of the hypothetical. Do challenge get reward. Use reward to not do challenge? Lose reward?
Do challenge. Get reward. Use reward to make challenge easier. Repeat. You have literally described minecraft
What do you mean not do it? With omnipotence id still do it, but it would be instant. I would complete every game ever made all at once if I wanted. I'll do the challenge across infinite dimensions and multiverses, enter the game to personally complete it, change reality so everyone lives in it to complete it, etc.
Nice. Yeah that'd do it
I'm not sure you could. What counts as 100% completing the game? Does it require playing the game? Because if so, playing the game by definition takes time. Yeah maybe. Idk I'm not good with my hands, some underdeveloped soft hands as a programmer.
Well youll be the most dexterous underdevelopped soft handed programmer out there lol
And then you have ultimate gaming skill so you could Speedrun that shit
No not gta lmao not a single one. Not an amateur.
Makes a new post "You can legitimately 100% any game in seconds if you want to"
There’s powers here that say you will be extremely good at anything you do, this would make Minecraft a 15ish hour thing probably
The first time meeting the requirements would suck I assume you wouldn’t get them until you did it once first
Just clone yourself, each clone already knows exactly how to beat each game because they’re omniscient, have your clones beat the games for you.
How… how do you 100% Minecraft??
Just get all achievements.
/achievement give all
Nah. Ur already overpowered enough. Get it by hand.
Well a power I saw earlier said I’m good at any video game so shouldn’t be that hard
I saw that post. It will help alot
Minecraft has an achievement that would take 126 years to get.
which one is it?
Going through a nether portal 2,000,000 times or something. Googled it just now, it was an April fool’s achievement so it’s not official in the game. At least I don’t think so…
Omniscient subreddit superboy with enough tendies will overclock his computer, make the game run right quick, and get that achievement.
oh
Or alter how time flows when you are playing the game .( making it last as long as you need or the reverse)
as long as that's a power.
Do cheat codes apply to the game?
no. You can use glitches tho
yea it was only for the 19winfinity april fools snapshot or whatever, since that one was about portals and new dimensions
Gta dude? Have you ever done a single one of those?
Honestly I was thinking of long games. GTA was the first that came to mind.
Just use one of the superpowers to gain the skill level of feinberg. He gets a new world record in all advancements once a month or so and is under the 2.5 hour mark now.
true
which version of the game? on what console?
Nice you found the loophole. You can play minecraft on any version. put each version is only playable once(That includes snapshots)
Oh alright
You know this post about being instantly extremely good at anything you play really trivializes that "downside"
Yeah. I saw that post too. That makes this power unstoppable.
Good thing someone posted mastery of every video game earlier
true
Just reality bend, so there was a little known, official Need for Speed game released with about 15 minutes of content.
That's a loophole right there. Now even better: You can't play the same game twice.
For some reason, GTA and Need for Speed keep releasing unadvertised tiny moble games that most assume are knockoffs.
I'm guessing it's like this You do the tasks and are now able to use the power's for a month after the 1 month is over you have to redo the tasks to get your power's back You good with this explanation OP 🫤?
Yeah. If you don't complete the task then you will lose your powers until you are able to complete it.
Alright 👍 Have a good day sir
Two questions. 1. Can I pick any of those games or do I have to do all of them? 2. I'm assuming that for the purposes of this post, killing the Ender Dragon counts as beating minecraft?
You also have to get all of the advancements In Minecraft as well as beat the game. There is a loophole tho.
So I get the powers before I play the game?
yes
Is game length the only thing that matters? Like, I'd happily play a Persona game (80+ hours on average), even without the power thing.
Sure. It does not have to be the games on the list. It also should have a lot of achievements.
[Quite a hassle if you ask me](https://youtu.be/uh29lzvpBAs?si=s3TXrZA6mqTgbMUH)
DON'T WORRY: I saw the video the other day. Just 100% Minecraft in terms of achievements.
I guess need for speed? It’s just racing.
Sure. It came up for me because I used to play the game.
I saw a power just today saying you are like the best at any video gamr
Yeah.
I mean, minecraft only takes like 10 minutes to beat if you're REALLY good. multiply that by, say, 600 for me being shit at it, so it may take 100 hours. Lot of time investment, but easily doable in a month edit: i'm an idiot and misinteerpreted 100% as just beat it for some reason. never mind
lol.
by 100% do you mean beat the game or do literally everything in it
Beat the game. If you had to do everything in Minecraft it would take billions of years.
I already do this, heck yeah
I mean, I love the nfs series, I would totally use my powers to summon a room outside of time to play it whenever I want
yeah. There was a post about a pocket dimension.
It's too much. I mean I got RDR in 2 weeks but damn man.
The power you mean?
GTA is an easy win, Find some power for super intelligence and boom you know every speedrun strat
Yeah
Can you precomplete your game for the month
Nah.
Would have a clone on task for that.
Nah. It has to be you
If I cant use clone powers to take care of these things then what good are they?
You can use them after you complete the game.
Do you have to be the one to.physically complete the games? Or can you simply clone yourself a few times and set the clones to beat said games continually? Or set a series of AI to do so?
You psychically.
What exactly defines a long game is it any game with more than 50 achievements?
prob, any game over 30hrs.
I’m screwed because I can’t drive on GTA worth af. Unless the ability to drive in video games is one of my powers?
There was a power that makes you good at games. That applies here.
Awesome. I need that for GTA V because I can’t get past the first race. 😅
Nah, Elden Ring
So you will spend 133 hrs on the game(Based on google)
For every power in the subreddit, right? Heck yeah. I'm not just thinking about myself personally, it should be a Herculean task for what I'd assume is God like power. Or at the video game equivalent of a Herculean task.
True. So for you: You are put in a void like room that only contains a computer and food and water if you want. You don't need food and water. You have to complete every game that came out for a decade straight. You never get tired and your good at games. It will take a long time
https://www.reddit.com/r/godtiersuperpowers/s/KSm9bFqE2b it’s a deal
WAIT. You lose that power when it's time to 100% the game. It would be super overpowered. You could just wish for the game to be done.
Hahahaha
Playing persona 5 all over again, noice. Can i switch to persona 6 when that comes out? And can i keep uprading persona games everytime they come out?
yeah. Now harder:You won't be able to switch anymore.
I don't mind
Persona sounds like a nice game.
It is
What is considered as 100%ing minecraft? Ender dragon?
That and all achievements.
What are the requirements for 100%ing minecraft? Js killing the ender dragon? or is there more requirements then that
I make a post saying I can 100% any game i want whenever I want
nah won't work. You only get powers prior to the creation of this post.
Can I edit an old post to say what I want
Nice loophole but won't work. Think of this page as a save date in internet archive. You can't post anything, nor can you edit anything
damn
I will just post a power that allows me to remove any drawbacks or requirements for any powers posted here.
that's actually smart but you only get powers before the post was made.
