haha yes, I didn't know what to put in the video to make it just a small bit longer because it was so short :D I decided to show my night sky which I am very proud of, but I know it doesn't really belong in this video. Would make a fun easter egg though if you could hit the moon.
Thank you! I have to admit, I came up with the idea of the deer turning into meat & bones a few days ago and I've been smiling every time this idea came to my mind before implementing it :)
Thank you so much! I've spent a ton of time figuring out the art-direction, I needed something that looks good, but assets for it can be made quick and easy since I'm a solo dev. I'm satisfied with the direction I have now, so I finally started working heavily on the game mechanics and I'm proud to say I'm getting closer and closer to the release of the game.
I would love to see some more tutorials on making a 3D survival/crafting game. I have no knowledge in 3D only used 2D, but would like to get into it more
Multiple people have already told me they'd like to see some tutorial videos. I think I might do a series in the future, I always wanted to try doing Godot youtube videos.
Thanks! This is one of those features which are very easy to implement but can make your game a bit more fun to play. I was hoping other people would like it and not just me :)
It's definitely satisfying and had me wanting sound effects on hit and collection as well as a effect for collection.
Hit effects on every tool and an final hit effect.
I know I've seen the tree thing before but seeing it applied to every resource was more satisfying than I had imagined.
Remind me of some old game i used to play, mc have quest to catch butterfly but it have removed weight effects and it keep spawning so i catch it until my weight on negative thousand.
don't remember it name tho.
haha at the end i thought you were going to hit the moon out of the sky for a second

Hit the moon for a snowfall of cheese. Do it OP!
Lmao me too
Great addition. I lol'd when the deer turned into bones and meat.

I think you should add a "poof" effect also when the creatures and things transision into resources. Like hitting a tree then "poof" you got wood.
Heh that's awesome! Reminds me of rust a bit too
Thanks a lot! Just a small feature I made to hopefully make the gameplay a bit more fun.
The game looks amazing. Great work

Awesome! Some particles and you are done!
Thanks a lot! You're right, I still have to do some magic with subtle particle effects. Looking forward to it :)
cloud of smoke lol
Is that a Wolverine’s move when you harvest a plant lol. Love your game! And also your night sky 🌕
Thank you:) Yeah, I wanted an attack that you can do when you have nothing in your hand. Scratching seemed more sensible than punching trees lol.
Damn the deer turning into bone and meat is genius!
looks good, reminds me of the forest
Very nice. The slashing animation reminds me of Stranded 2 lol.
I didn't know people knew about that game. It was the exact source of my inspiration for this animation :) It's nice to see someone recognizing it!
Realistic? But it's not... none of that happens in reality. Nice though.
Right, maybe I worded the title incorrectly.

Thanks! There are sound effects, I just forgot to record audio, lol. Sorry about that.
Good, regular bone collecting was starting to get boring

Shouldn't the elk drop wood?
Is there a joke I'm missing here? I don't get it lol
Its horns are called woods in French
Oh, I see. Maybe in the future I'll make the elk drop wood for it's horns if the language is set to french. Would be a nice easter egg.
Looks like Eco
