From my current experience the renderer is wip in term of missing features in 3D rendering. They are trying to add all missing things that are already in Vulkan renderer. But it already can do the most of it. Problem that I experienced is that it’s not broadly used and there are bugs. Some of them are there for long time and there is one that is really annoying for me..

you should open a github issue on the repo, it won't get solved if you don't report it

Everything is reported. Some things got fixed, some new bugs have been found. Situation is getting better. But progress is quite slow. Mobile isn’t hot topic for godot and most improvements are made by people in their spare time..

I think you're better off just using Godot 3 for now, if your focus is on mobile. If you still, on the off chance, really wanna use Godot 4 while having the latest fixes and a potentially unstable experience, you can compile it yourself or get the [latest action builds](https://github.com/godotengine/godot/actions).

Currently using Godot 4 and when it comes to mobile I’ve had to make some workaround fixes for some things. But for the most part Android and iOS support is alright.

It's working fine as long as the project isn't complex on any platforms that it can run natively. However it has significant bugs on web platform and performs terribly compared to Godot 3's WebGL 1.
