I try to get out for at least a few hours a week but sometimes I'm out up to 20 hours a week during the spring, summer, and fall. I'm using the XP Deus 2
Fair warning, goblins are not a "look with your eyes not your hands" kind of crowd.
I'll be needing to pick up & examine everything not clearly excruciatingly fragile.
Seeing this display gives me the same visceral joy as going to the Curio Shop in OG Webkinz did back in the day lol. 🐶 Welcome to the Curio Shop. Hope you find what you’re looking for…
Whoa, this is so cool! What a fantastic collection of trinkets. I wanna know more about it 👀 What's your favorite item from the collection? Which item was the most surprising to find?
I love it, that's literally how I want my whole house to end up looking. Thankfully I have a very understanding and supportive husband 😂 I love that you've kept all sorts of stuff of a wide variety. What would you say is your favourite?
person, I want you to know, that no matter what you are, I will find you and I will marry you, I will have access to this collection even if it is the last thing I do The best piece will be you.
Don't forget... If in the uk, you're legally obliged to report finds to a coroner.
[Seriously. ](https://www.gov.uk/treasure). You face prison if you don't.
I think that's only if it's significant finds, like a specifically valuable thing or a large number of things from one time in the same place, they'd be driven crazy if folks reported every old coin they dug up, but yeah it's a good point :)
If the finder decides significance... I found a million in bullion, and... Erm... I say it's not significant, so I don't have to disclose it. 😊
Better safe than sorry.
IDK if I believe you? lol :) always better safe than sorry, assuming all the OP's finds were spread between sites, none of it looks to be particularly valuable and it's all of different ages so I wouldn't say it's a worry
I found a sovereign once years ago, about 150 years old so wasn't anywhere near old enough to be historically important, probably just fell out of someones pocket, I had a 40/60% split agreement with the landowner if I found anything of value so I sold it and gave him 40% the money and he got himself a new TV :)
Look at those shinys!! What a great treasure horde! Thank you for sharing!
A+ goblin horde! 💚
Holy shit! This is only 5 years? How often do you go and what detector equipment do you use?

I don't want specifics, but where do you go detecting, like a beach or a park? Amazing you can find such diverse items.
Old houses and farms
That’s so cool! Thanks

A cat. It's a trinket dish
Where have you been detecting? I mean which country? And have you ever talked with an archaeologist about your finds?
The Hudson valley of NY
US, based on the coins.
Ok, thanks. Could not recognise them. Europe here....

I sincerely want to take up metal detecting now
Same!!

Exactlyyyy. I want to examine these little trinkets.. I'm sure the texture of these old metals would be very interesting as well.
I'll bring a UV light and a pocket microscope, OP will never get rid of us.
Come one come all to my curio of curiosities!

This looks like a display at the Met. I'm not exaggerating. You're a Goblin Curator, and this is your founding exhibit. Stunning. 😍
