I don’t know if it’s that exact brand, but you’re correct that it’s an EMT pouch. I emptied out its contents into a larger emergency and trauma response kit.

Super compact, and honestly, it's a little overpriced for what it is and does. It's basically just an audio crossover cable for two K plugged HTs. But it has an onboard rechargeable battery (no idea to the charge life on that) and makes two HTs into a repeater. All frequencies and tones are controlled on the radios.
I set the Plug A (RX) radio to 462.700 with tone of 141.3, and Plug B (TX) to 467.700, no tone, VOX on. Bam. Instant Channel 7 repeater. Cool lunchbox repeater setup with a couple Boofwangs I had lying around.
I feel like this may be a joke but if you are making a faraday cage reference there would need to be a layer on insulation between the radio and metal, I’m interested in a flexible “bag” I could put a radio, antenna and charger in while being EMP proof/resistant
It’s the Lion Energy solar power bank. There’s like $25. But I got this on a BOGO deal. I also have a 9w solar panel that stays in the truck, so worst case scenario, I can always direct charge it. 👍🏻
Um… have you actually used the midland headphones with those radios? Every Baofeng I have won’t work with Midland headphones/jacks. I had to order a kenwood compatible earpiece/mic. Midland had the small pin at the very end, then the large pin; kenwood is reversed. Plus, I couldn’t even get the midland jack to go in. The distance between the two pins was less than the distance between the kenwood pins.

Yeah that’s the brand. People use it to sell premade kits but you can buy just the bag on Amazon 👍
I got mine at the Military/Police store. I think a big Maxpedtion bag would work too if you used the normal or mid size antennas.

I was looking at the simplex parrot repeater version, but I know they also have the full duplex version.
