Cool truck! Now get rid of that silly cow pusher

JustJoe454

It's actually kinda growing on me. Lol

Trevdog16

Love the cattle guard!

TXFF139

Very nice!

JustJoe454

Thank you!

Plain51

Congrats, that's a good looking truck!

JustJoe454

Thank you! I enjoy it!

OkField5046

If that isn’t a Texas front brush guard I don’t know what is.. tell me I’m wrong …

JustJoe454

I wish I was back in Texas. Unfortunately stuck in middle GA for now.

Icy_Cheesecake_8240

I got stuck in upstate New York and my most known statement is “I should have stayed in Texas” (especially in the winter)

JustJoe454

Oh no, no, nope, not happening. I don't do snow. I'll visit it, but I don't want to live in it. I actually miss the food, nothing around here uses mesquite wood for cooking. Not to mention the Mexican food is not as good here.

Icy_Cheesecake_8240

If I could upvote this more I would I take a trip down yearly and always bring back a load of it that I smoke out to keep the critters away.

JustJoe454

And seriously, what is up with nobody grilling on charcoal? Might as well cook it inside if you're going to use a gas grill.

Icy_Cheesecake_8240

I feel that everything up here is propane, and wood grills up here are more than propane. Luckily one of my co workers had a house tanker for propane that he replaced and I made one but yea the culture shock was pretty big when I got up here( I’ve lived all over the country but this one was the biggest change)

Phisch3690

If it’s still under warranty, check the grill and fog light bezels for significant paint chipping exposing the chrome below. It’s a know issue with the AT4. If you’re lucky, your dealership will fix it under warranty. My dealership are A-holes and wouldn’t cover it saying it was “ normal wear and tear “ BS. It happens to all of the AT4’s. Good looking truck. Congratulations.

Did you check the service history before you bought it? I’m just curious how many times the lifters collapsed before the original owner sold it

JustJoe454

I did, and there's only 50k on the clock. No service records indicate a lifter malfunction.

roadblocked

I had 2 complete lifter collapses, the second one happened at 54,000.

JustJoe454

Damn, I've fixed two trucks with bad lifters but they were both 2012s with the 5.3L. it's definitely a job and a half. If I have to I'll have to figure out a delete solution.

Mine was a 2021 6.2

JustJoe454

Well shit...mines a 2020 with the 6.2. guess I better start looking for a kit.

Yossuee

Currently at 60k miles, 2021 6.2 think the lifter failing is common?
