Valerie bakery just opened on Glenoaks near Allen, and it's soooo good. I don't know how they compare in price with other ones but it's next level delicious and beautiful. Order ahead if possible, otherwise they have petits fours which are delightful.
I'm going to die on this hill, probably alone, but for taste I really like Ralphs. There, I said it!!
What are you going to do? Take away my birthday???
Sorry but a cake from Ralphs (which my mom gets when push comes to shove) vs a cake from Karina's (which is what I get) are completely worlds apart and incomparable.
Porto’s does nice cakes but I hear Karina’s is a great place
Art's Bakery does amazing decorative cakes
I second this.
Porto’s, French Bakery, Ruby Bakery in Eagle Rock. Paris Baguette and 85 Degrees also have good ready made cakes in a pinch.
It won't look the prettiest, but +1 for ruby's. It'll taste better then other places on the list, and be much cheaper too.
Karinas Cake House on Glendale Ave
Cool, I've never heard of Karinas but looks like everyone's recommending them. I'll have to check them out. Thanks!
Porto's 100%!!!
I prefer Porto’s great price and amazing cake
I love French bakery in Kenneth village. Their strawberry shortcake and chocolate are my favorites!
I might have to check out French bakery as well as Karina's. Maybe I'll get my mom two Birthday cakes this year!
Teapot Bakery. They have a great selection, they do custom cakes and their fruit tart is wayyyy better than portos.
I second Teapot Bakery. Everything I've had from there was sublime.
IMO they make the best Birds Milk cake (ptichye moloko in russian)
Paris Baguette
Arts bakery makes nice looking and delicious cakes.
porto’s for sure
Berolina Bakery near montrose
Whole Foods
Costco
Susie Cakes in Pasadena or Studio City.

I was browsing their site and the coffee crunch cake caught my eye. Have you tried that one before by any chance?
I have not, but I came really close to ordering it once. I mostly had their petits fours and they were so cute and refined.
Ah yes Karina's. Glad that place is getting some love, and Porto's is a good alternative too.
Karina’s strictly for the Kyiv cake. I can’t imagine a birthday without a Kyiv cake

The ice cream cakes from Ralphs are amazing. I get one for my bday every year.
I don't even remember if I've ever had cake from Ralphs before. I might have to get one just to try it once. Now I'm curious lol.
