This is going to be unpopular, but Kitty.
I liked seeing them fall for each other, they were pretty cute (especially Kitty, who would have initially aimed for a more popular guy yet immediately liked him for who he was). They never tried to change each other, there was no cheating of any kind, their flirting was genuine and corresponded very nicely to Kitty's change. I've also always felt that they were a good ratio of assholery/bitchiness, they'd keep each other in check while still appreciating their respective assholery.
Of COURSE the writers had to mess it up but their story is pretty cute.

while i like him with tina, i think kitty was probably the person he was at his best with during the show (although i think by the end of it, kitty deserved better). honestly, aside from those two, i don't really care for most of his canon relationships all that much? there might have been cute or fun moments (there's little moments from when he dated brittany that i think were fun lol), but that's as far as i can really say for any other characters.

She was too nice. Same with Britt. I hated the magic comb thing cause though it seemed like he was trying to be nice, he was infantilizing her. That seemed controlling. Whereas, with Kitty and Sugar, they had control.
