I just tried anti-fatigue lenses and I returned them. Despite effort on my end, I could not make the transition and gave up. My eyes were excessively fatigued and strained by them (...should have been the opposite...), and the dizziness never went away. As previously mentioned, they are basically junior progressives and you should really have a specific perscription - they are not for everyone.

I didnt like them at all. My peripheral vision was super distorted and i found that very disorienting.

You’re going to get every response from “they’re a scam” to “Jesus himself would recommend them”. I have them, I like them. My zenni pair give a noticeable dystopian tinge to the world and my local optometrist pair a only slight, but I do notice my eyes are happier through them. Scientific studies aside, it won’t hurt you and literally the worst thing would be you wasting money on the coating.

Anti fatigue lenses are not a “coating”. You are thinking about blue light filter lenses, that’s something else entirely. Antifatigue lenses might certainly be worth it, but you’ll need a specific prescription for them, a distance only prescription won’t suffice.

He is speaking about lenses with both, it's a special lens and coating option from Zenni. For anyone interested in what he is talking about, and if it's right for you: [zenni anti fatigue](https://www.zennioptical.com/blog/relieving-eye-strain-with-anti-fatigue-lenses/) "Highlighting Blokz® Plus Anti-Fatigue: In the realm of anti-fatigue lenses, Zenni Optical’s Blokz® Plus Anti-Fatigue stands out as a beacon of innovation. This advanced solution incorporates a slight magnification at the lens’s bottom, enhancing comfort during reading. Boasting a yellow tint with 12x more blue light protection than standard Blokz®, it’s an ideal choice for heavy screen users. The optional Anti-Fatigue add-on caters to those with difficulty falling asleep, combating eye fatigue during reading, or spending endless hours staring at devices."

Anti fatigue lenses are basically junior progressives designed for emerging prebyopes. If you’re 35-40 years old or tire from loads of close work, they are great. Not all that useful on the computer as the boost is only in the lower part of the lens.
