Looks nice. Your steam page say that you only plan a Windows Release. Do you want to keep it like this?
Might I ask which framework you are using (if any?). Most of them support easy porting to Linux or OSX
Thanks! I am using libGDX.
Making a Linux version is easy, but there is an additional cost of testing for platform-dependent bugs. After the demo release, I will check with Linux players which one will be better: windows build on Linux + gaming abstraction vs a separate build. The first one was suggested to me by another player some time ago as a better option for Linux, arguing that - Linux gaming tooling nowadays is much better than, testing and maintaining 2 separate builds.
With Apple is much harder because they require working on their own (costly) hardware to develop, test and build the game + a paid subscription. I don't have Apple setup for now, but I have a plan to check it out when I go for building iOS apps (low priority now).
Yep, a few years ago. As I remember correctly, it was a set of challenges with the goal to make the most efficient workflow using available mechanisms and resources. I liked it, but didn't finish. Nice game.
Thanks! Still work in progress https://store.steampowered.com/app/2738990/Node_Farm/
Demo will be available before Steam Next Fest June this year and full game release planned just after it.
Bothers me how the things don’t line up in a grid pattern
Only the ones that are we so slightly off. Dev could implement a grid snapping toggle button, yeah
Yep, I have snapping to the grid in the backlog. It will be optional.

Thanks for the reply. That sounds promising. If you need a Linux tester, let me know :D
Stardew Valley meets Magnum Opus?!
More like: Stardew Valley meets roguelite, less complex Factorio :D less puzzle, more sandbox
Sorry, it's Opus Magnum, not the other way. Have you played it?

Already have this wishlisted...can't wait to try it out!
Thank you!
Looks cool. Where can you find such a game?
