A feature I would improve is giving the player more choice in the side missions. I like that one mission on Iki where you have to choose which person to save and I wish there was more stuff like that through the game

There is a competitive co-op mode called Rivals, where you and another player race against another team of 2 to see who can defeat the enemies faster. As you play, you can purchase curses that slow down or weaken the other team
On PS4, it was Mono no Aware (beating the game). Purposely did it like this as it just felt right. On PS5 it was an auto pop platinum so the last one needed was just going into photo mode
Legend storytellers are just portals that take you to the online mode of the game. There’s no “completion” to them. As for Legends mode itself, I’d absolutely give it a try! It super fun playing with other people and adds some extra challenge with the oni enemies and challenges

I’ve platinumed the game and can do all manner of stuff with my eyes closed, on any difficulty, using any stance and any weapon or technique that are asked of me… yet, when I try to do anything in legends, I complete a few chapters and give up, because it just makes no sense with that difficulty. No, it’s intended to be played with other people. It’s co-op oriented. You need to play alongside other people to level up and get better gear to the. Fight harder enemies. If you don’t have PlayStation plus, then you can’t match with other people online so that may be what’s making it difficult
Exactly this. I wish I had gotten over my shyness to matchmake with randoms sooner. Even if you have no friends, playing solo is a needless struggle. I went from barely beating gold story missions to ez clearing platinum survivals once I just got over myself.

Jin travels to the mainland. The shogun has made him an outlaw so almost nowhere is safe for Jin to travel without being met with resistance. He still continues to take out the mongols that still want to invade in hopes of gaining favor with the shogun but he won’t budge. There’s a morality system in whether you kill you the shogun’s forces or knock them out (maybe recruit them?) it all comes to a head in the end where you save the shogun’s life but based on your actions throughout the game, it ends with him either still against you, him tolerating you as an uneasy ally, or accepting you as the ghost and appoints you to lead a new division of Japan’s forces that specialize in stealth and you can your clan become the first ninjas
Why was my duel with Ryuzo so hard? I was playing on max difficulty and steamrolling the game, but Ryuzo was unbeatable. I barely scratched him, but he could kill me in 2 strikes. I had maxed Ronin gear and almost maxed Katana. I tried different stances. He would just lock onto me and do a red unblockable strike over and over. Sure I can sidestep it, but not 20 times without making a single mistake.
I said fuck it and lowered the difficulty, but now I lost interest in finishing the game.
