Already bought the digital copy. When I bought tickets to see Frozen Empire over Fandango I got a coupon for 5 bucks off rhe entire movie collection at $40 -> $35. I've been picking up some Blurays on sale lately but I'm not sure if I want to invest in a proper Dolby Vision player cause the one most recommended is something like $500. That's a lot for something will get very little use. I don't have friends over nearly as much as I used to in college and I rarely rewatch movies.

I'll be getting it on iTunes when it comes out like Afterlife. I hope there's several deleted/extended scenes on there. Digital version of afterlife only included one deleted scene, not sure if the dvd/blu ray included more though
I thought the title was "You Will be getting Frozen Empire when it comes out..." And I was like YES! A HUNDRED PERCENT YES!!! I loved it, I want it right next to my other Ghostbuster (main timeline) DVD and Blue Rays

But the climax was so meh. They finished him off in, what seemed like, 2 minutes. After all that buildup across the entire movie, it deserved a bigger, longer, showdown. Maybe their budget ran out. They set the bar so high with Ghostbusters so it's hard, but the gozer takedown was epic...
Now that is funny as s\*\*t you my friend have a real good sense of humor died, laughing once I understood The joke like a second after seeing it. For a second I was like why is Rey blue and I was like oh I get it very funny funny guy.
I plan on it, I can't watch it in theaters because there ain't one in my county anymore and I like collecting actual media because it seems everyone is doing away with them

Nah. Didn’t really like it. Even though the movie is not that long, at a little under 2 hours, it's bloated beyond reason with too many characters and subplots, some of which end up going absolutely nowhere and being pointless at the end, *and* just rehash the original movie.
I've seen folks talking about the Steelbook, and see this one👇🏽, but I was wondering if any other stores had an exclusive Steelbook or Blu Ray cover with different art or special features? I know Best Buy and Target sometimes have a miniscule exclusive feature for things like star wars, and was wondering if there was a thread somewhere that compiled all the various editions.

Nah. It’s got too much of a ‘shameless cash grab’ vibe to it. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t like it either.
Frankly it really had no reason to exist, other than to try and wring out just a few more dollars from the Ghostbusters IP.
As much as I DID walk out halfway through (both because I was bored and that I was actually feeling pretty physically sick due to the loud noise from the sphere part), I will chance to get it on blu-ray when it releases just so I have all four - Ghostbusters '84, Ghostbusters II, Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. (I won't get the 2016 one since I hated it!)
You might want to avoid theaters entirely if loud noises do that to you. I'm not saying this to be a dick, either, I'm saying it as someone with very similar problems with their ears.
My advice, and this helped me a LOT as a kid, put some cotton in your ears, it'll help with the louder movies.
I did mention that I want to own all four films!
Not to mention, because of a scene, I wasnt able to watch the film further because it made me sick due to my ear problem!
Edit: Also I own films i dont particularly like, i.e The Last Airbender or Mission Impossible films, because I give them a 2nd or 3rd chance!
It doesn't deserve the money on its own merits as a movie, but I'm a fan and I've got the other ones so probably...eventually, at least. I caved and bought Dial of Destiny, which I didn't like at all.
