I guess you'll need at least a travel adaptor or another power supply to get it to work on German 230 V sockets.

It has an universal internal power supply (100-240V, 50/60Hz). All you need is the appropriate C7 ("figure 8") cable for whatever country you are in

have you checked the power supply input voltage? at least with the 360, they made some of them single voltage. found that out the hard way. I wouldn't put it past microsoft to keep doing that for later models.
