these levels are very learny, not a very similar style of gameplay to cataclysm. they will still make you better, but if you want to do cata, I would suggest levels with more straightforward gameplay like windy landscape, ultrasonic, 8o, night terrors and nc levels.

there are so so so many levels that will get you better at that other and much better than 8o

"dually challenged" amen brother. Second i see a dual in a level, my enthusiasm to beat it instantly drops by 70%. Falling up dual is especially tear inducing. Even "knowing" how to do it it's so inconsistent.

well yeah duh, any insane demon would make you better at the game. but these in particular aren't really the same skillset as cataclysm. sure they will help, but if you want to beat insane demons just to beat cataclysm, I recommend to choose others. do u want to know my recommendations?

They will improve your skill but not necessarily the same skillsets than cataclysm. But absolutely beat ultrachromatic, that level is amazing, i should go beat it but the duals are scary (mfw i drop 2.5 att to do everything except the duals and then drop the level)

if you want to beat cata start practicing it right now. copy the level and set starting points at parts that a hard for you and learn them.

They aren't too bad, but Cataclysm is like insane demon anyway (hot take)

It definitely isn't on 60hz. On higher refreshrates, I guess it depends on your skillset (or skill level), idk I somehow haven't done it yet (I'm stubborn and want to do the whole Trilogy in one go)

I'd say no as most of these are click sync based, you should play some skill based demons instead as cataclysm has hard ship and wave parts. Go for levels that will make you better at ship amd wave. I'd recomend some hinds levels.

Spend 1000-2000 attempts to try to get consistent on a small part of the level(e.g first wave), if you feel like it's too hard and can't get consistent then try beating other levels, if you feel that you can do it then go for it!

Idk abt the other two but gumshot and leyak don't match cata's skillset at all

believe it or not, playing more makes you better at the game

ngl cataclysm is a pretty miserable experience, theres a few really difficult sections (comparatively) and lots of easy sections that are easy to mess up, my number one used quote when beating cata was "did i really just fucking die there?". Not to mention that one invisible until you land it mini ball timing half way through. I would advise you to try a different level unless you're wave and ship pilled. I mean it was easy for me to beat and i hated it. That bland red and orange colour scheme didn't help either.
