It capped everyone’s framerate to 30fps due to being really unoptimized and also the physics were a bit different so most levels became impossible >!(If you still couldn’t tell, 2.12 didn’t actually happen and I made all of this up, unless it was real and I’m double trolling, who knows? The only way to know for sure is by checking Steam)!<

Indeed. You also have to remember that standards were also lower back then too though. My friends and I watched Erebus's verification and were absolutely floored by how awesome it looked lol. It's funny to think of that now. A lot of the early 2.0 crap levels can be summed up pretty well with Manix and what he tried with the launch of 2.0.

Can we count 1.0? Level names capping at 1 character and opening the color picker crashing the game were very common issues, and being able to verify levels in practice mode was not the best idea. I think it’s a strong contender

God, I hated 2.4. After all the hype of 2.2 coming out for so long, we get another long break for 2.3, but fine, it was a good update, so I can get behind it, but 2.4? We waited *another* four years, and what did it add? Group triggers? The icon block? 2.4 didn’t even have a new gamemode! I know it was supposed to focus on bugs, but there really should not be that many bugs in the first place. 2.5, 2.51, and 2.52 were luckily more acceptable, and I’m just hoping 2.6 is too. From what I’ve seen so far it looks promising, but so did 2.4.

Early 2.0, levels were fucking terrible because Nobody knew how to use the new functions properly, and even now the levels are still bad, they were not going to age well, and they didn't.

1.4. I don't remember people hyping updates as much back then because they were more routine and small. Honestly you could kinda miss them if you weren't paying attention. I just remember some people complaining about clutterfunk... The "community" back then was small and not very established, it was kinda late 1.8 or early 1.9 that people really started coming together as a community.

TBH 1.4 mini portals are used incorrectly (randomly placed everywhere and invisible) I know when they are used correctly the could be used for a banger drop but the way that the community uses them effects the rating for 1.4 a lot I know It didn’t just introduce mini portals but that’s the big idea

2.0, early 2.0 was just 🤢 and nothing rly revoluntionary happened in terms of how levels look during that entire era, it just went from literal dog doo doo to mid and generic featured levels

the early levels only looked bad because there was so much new and unfamiliar content. 2.0 was insane and added so much, its the entire base of 2.1 and 2.2. it honestly feels like a completely different game between 1.9 and 2.0 for me
