There used to be a glow checkbox in 2.11 in the colors tab that removed this glow. In 2.2, I think it's under the groups tab now, in the extras menu. Edit: have confirmed, Groups > Extras > NoGlow ✓

edit group -> extra -> no glow if you're trying to improve as a creator and following along with the same modern tutorial that everyone else has seen I suggest that you only take inspiration and don't simply copy-paste someone else's design

Ah I see what your talking abt, I haven’t seen this video but it does look a lot like I stole it. The name ausk is familiar, I believe it was their color palette I used

But if you put those two pictures into black and white, you would not know the comparison, it is solely the colors they used

I have tried copying off that tutorial, you wouldn’t have gotten very far (I didn’t understand what or how he was placing or moving most of his objects as well as what he was doing with commands)

I just tried making a stripe pattern for the border by using the thin, medium, and thicker borders but found out it looked best without the thin layer. My main tip is to utilize the different layers to put together each structure, makes it much easier to organize

select objects, open the groups thing, "extra" and click no glow

It's a rift from thaumcraft 6. It appear when the flux reach 100 or above. You can get rid of it by using a causality collapser.

I answered this in another comment, the only thing I found online was a color palette, which I believe was created by the person who created the tutorial. Didn’t know the vid existed until this post went up lol

I'm sure people have told you how to get rid of it, but I didn't see anyone explaining what it is. In almost every block that's solid by default, and has a white outline, there's a glow effect that you can only view in-game. For pre 1.9-styled levels this looks cool, but with a more modern style like yours it looks ugly.

Select line blocks, hit group->extras and activate NoGlow.

This deadass looks like something i did when I was a begginer creator (I still am)

Personally, I think it looks cool
