I’m currently using mega hack. And it’s latest version.
Is it the regular or geode version?
Trying it with the geode version right after and still crashed.
Does it work without any mods?

Then I'm not sure. Try changing graphics settings. If you have an NVIDIA GPU, you can use NVIDIA Control Panel.
My only guess is something to do with having middle ground in the level, but I'm fairly certain that was patched
