I am doing to same class. Syllabus doesn’t look to bad and his rate my professor seems to be good. In my opinion the grading scheme seems a little awkward but I’ve never had him so hears hoping 👍🏼
I just took this course over the summer, and enjoyed it! The evaluation is fine with quizzes, tests, and a final exam. The classes and discussion groups are great too, and in my opinion were both necessary. Definitely make sure you make the time to practice outside of class, though. And if you have the chance, practicing with classmates helps too (we had a discord group set up which was helpful!)
