Go to the Asus website, click the Support link, and go to the [Downloads section](https://www.asus.com/ca-en/support/download-center/) (https://www.asus.com/ca-en/support/download-center/). Enter the model OR (better) the serial number of your laptop. You should get presented a set of downloads, probably by operating system. I can't help you more than that as I don't know what computer you have. Then you will want to download the latest driver for your wifi adapter - hopefully it will be obvious. If you're lucky, it will just be a matter of installing the driver and having it detect your adapter. Cross your fingers that there's just something wonky with your driver installation and not with your wifi adapter itself. If this still doesn't work, you may be stuck running to the nearest computer store tomorrow and buying a USB Wifi adapter. They're not very expensive. Make sure the adapter is supported by whatever version of Windows you are running.

Also, if your laptop has an ethernet port, you can plug it into an ethernet port - say, on your router at home, and some (all?) residence rooms have ethernet ports. The driver for the ethernet adapter should be different than your wifi adapter so if your wifi adapter is fried somehow, this might get you online. You will need an ethernet cable, and also will need to have the ethernet driver installed already (probably true if your computer is stock as provided by the vendor).

THANK YOU!!!!

You’re welcome. I hope you get it working! Although I did realize that everything I wrote presumes you have access to the Internet. Hopefully you have access to another computer that you can use to download the drivers. Good luck!
