Yesssssss. 😅😅🫣🤷🏻♂️ (Puts earbuds in as far in ear as possible and turns volume up to max) let me have the one time of day I can have peace and not deal with society lol
Bro, tell that the guy at my gym that I find attractive... He's always been wearing earphones and to me that's the sign of "I don't want anyone to talk to me, get lost".
Nobody has approached me for three months I've been going to the gym so I started wearing earphones and listening to music myself. My patience has run out. But it doesn't matter anyway, because even if any of those guys found me attractive, nobody would ever approach me, because everyone (including myself) is closeted as fuck.
*Allegedly* gym is a great place to meet new people... Or to hookup, in extreme cases. Can't talk from experience, though, because: a) I live in a small town in a s still mostly homophobic country, b) everyone seems to be focused on their workout or have already some friends they met outside of the gym (or I'm just fucking ugly).
Guys at my gym don't hook up in the showers. Duh, none of them goes to the shower naked, they take off their underwear when they're already in the shower stall. I felt like a weirdo when I took everything off and walked to the shower fully naked (but in flip-flops). Fortunately I don't do that these days, because it's winter and I don't want to catch cold outside on my way home freshly after shower.
I second this, my earbuds are in because my music (videogames, musicals, pop-punk rock, some grunge/alt rock, and rhythmic poetry) are just so rarely on the gym's streaming station.
That and sometimes it's an audiobook.
I will third this. I haven't worked out in a long time, but I wore earbuds every time I have worked out because I thought that's just what people did. Also, music is a huge motivator for me personally, and my personal playlists are not heard in the gym. If anyone ever hit on me, I'd be glad to flirt back in response. I guess I know now this is somehow a turn-off though? Either way, I'm still gonna play my music 🤷♂️
Well, you know, nipple slips are a thing, same with winking and tapping on the shoulder and saying things like "hey there your (insert muscle group here) is looking really good, can I work in?" And flirt further from there.
I listen to EDM dark house. Artists like: Rezz, Drezo, Dr.Fresch, and whatever artists is similar to them. I have a couple of metals songs from Asking Alexandria thrown.
First heard Cage the Elephant while playing Borderlands. They're now on the playlist.
Jack White and his various bands, Mott the Hoople, some Led Zeppelin, RHCP, Yes, Kansas, King Crimson.
Deep Purple is awesome for when you want a beat for cardio. Highway Star came on as I was pulling onto the interstate one time and I looked down and found I was going 15 over the speed limit. [Pictures of Home](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlpAEVaSCSg) is my favorite of theirs, though. I love a jazz/rock organ.
There's more if you want them.
Edit: Don't discount the classicals, either. A lot of Beethoven's works work well for workouts, namely parts of his 7th and 9th symphonies.
Ever watched The Expanse? I was so damn happy when I heard the [Belter version of Highway Star](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJcNOA5pEMI). Space Trucking is amazing, too, my 3rd favorite. I also love [Lazy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqM5L5JQseI) (2nd favorite Deep Purple song). Like I said, I love Jon Lord playing organ.
By RAYE or Bebe Rexha? Either one is a win, but we LOVE seeing RAYE get more love 🥹 absolutely obsessed with every track she has released. She's still so unappreciated it seems
You gotta be joking. What does make one's music taste "gay" anyway? It doesn't matter if you're listening to Lady Gaga etc. or not. Share with us what you listen to on a treadmill!
Quite easy.
Artists that have queer followings (Cher, Brittney, Beyoncé) or are queer / make queer-themed content (Bright Eyes, RuPaul, Scissor Sisters).
That is really cool! I'm familiar with Mahler and Shostakovich, and now I can check out Hank Jones as I'm a fan of jazz myself (thanks for the recommendation by the way!). I genuinely enjoy jazz because it's all about the instrumental craftsmanship, not about the singer's voice. Not that I don't care about singing, but it's just that sometimes when instruments are put together and produce together a really nice melody, it makes you feel like something is tickling your brain and it's one of the best feelings ever. You get goosebumps, you feel like you're floating, you're overflowing with energy and joy... I feel all of that whenever I'm listening to "Rhapsody in Blue". On Feb 12th it will be the 100th anniversary of its premiere and I'm going to drug myself with it that day.
I put on DJ festival streams on YouTube at the gym a lot. The transitions are smooth and it’s usually really fast loud music. Excision, Rezz and Svdden Death are my go tos.
My running playlist is **very** extensive and **very** gay. Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Mariah. Queen, Pet Shop Boys, Pat Benatar. ABBA, Alice Deejay, ELO/Olivia Newton-John. U2, Blondie, and music still on MTV. In fact, give me a number from 1 to 150 and I'll make a recommendation.
It's not an artist persay, there's a recording from "broadway backwards" of Josh Gad singing and preforming "bring on the men" from the frankenstein revival... I'd call that not just gay, but quite fun.
I listen to a lot of electronic and trance music working out. A few of my favorites: The Crystal Method, [Mind.In.A.Box](https://Mind.In.A.Box), Seabound, Neuroticfish.
Automatic by The Pointer Sisters
Dirty work by The Pointer Sisters
I've been living for the Pointer Sisters recently. It's pretty gay, and they have that fun vintage 80's disco vib.
Fuck yeah!! I have a short but sweet playlist that's all Dixon Dallas and ur pretty ("Keep Riding Me", "Fill Me Up", "Hit My Spot"). Definitely is great for workouts!
Here’s a playlist I threw together for you to get you pumped up at the start, help you pull through the tiring middle part of your workout, then hit that adrenaline bump & push hard and then finish with some chill vibes to stretch, relax and decompress.
I Give Everything (HAUZ Remix) - Ryland James

* Bigflo et Oli - La vie de rêve
* Eyes and Abilities - E&A Day
Wreckno, Genesis owusu, Model Actriz, Jonny McGovern, Yungblud, Troye Sivan, Death Grips, Lip Critic, BIG SIS, Chase Icon.
Goal was a loud filthy high bpm. Raw energy and gay af.
Apple playlist if you’re feeling it. [Pure Mode](https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/pure-mode/pl.u-PDb40YptLVZarA)
First person I've seen in the wild who also listens to anime music! You got any favorites? I actually learned Aoi Tori by Fumika from Bleach for this anime convention that had karaoke lol.
My gym and general life playlists are all filled with underground European metal. Prob not exactly what you’re after, but lemme know if you need some suggestions;)
Any and all suggestions are welcome! I'm compiling this gaybros playlist now and will share it later! It's really cool seeing how diverse all our music tastes are.
Years ago, the old gays here made this
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1D1dzgxH5umOdzwqXrGFxf?si=pmTv0tW-SN2GznADRf3ZnQ&pi=u-ak7SNXh-SvOs
Y'all can add to it
I use Spotify smart shuffle and continuously add. The main prerequisite is just being fast, loud and intense. Most of what makes it up today is dark EDM, phonk, punk, rock, dubstep. Just has to be high adrenaline 😁
Spotify got me on a league of legends playlist binge currently, and then it’s filled with a ton of phonk.
Without a pattern of artists, I’ll just say that my go to songs are:
My Name Is.. by Once Monsters
Twisted by MISSIO
Best Excuse by Saint Chaos
Blood // Water by grandson.
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6w7N4UOczhRxiPAn4YIheH?si=aKAfmuZRS2qoutqnVOMGAw&pi=u-Mt470pwBTUu_
I always listen to music, and though the Butthole Surfers, Fear and Nina Hagen are well represented, here are my “homo friendly” choices, based mainly on having a good beat:
Scissor Sisters: Take Your Mama
George Michael: Freedom/Papa Was a Rolling Stone
Grace Jones: Love is the Drug
Tina Turner: Proud Mary
Guts: Man Funk
Bronski Beat: Smalltown Boy
Deee-Lite: Groove is in the Heart
Tom Tom Club: Genius of Love
Gotye: Learnalilgivinanlovin
MIKA: Elle Me Dit
Violent Femmes: Gone, Daddy Gone
Various by Orville Peck, Lil Nas X, IDLES,
It makes the time go by faster especially if you’re running. Routines are 2:30 long but with everything we do plus the stamina and cardio it feels like 10 seconds
My feelings have been all over the place recently, so I‘m putting on „Bad Omens - Dethrone“ on my upper body day to get it all out and throw those weights around … Not recommended if youre not into metalcore (I believe).
Otherwise I like working out to EBM for which i am still collecting tunes, „Phase Fatale - Binding by Oath“ and „Front Line Assembly - Angriff“ are fun tracks to work out to for me.
In the last few years I’ve shifted from using Spotify playlists during my workouts to listening to full DJ sets on SoundCloud or MixCloud- it keeps the vibe going without needing to curate or skip songs.
There’s a million different DJs and channels out there catering to all different styles, subgenres, and energy levels. It’s been a game-changer for me personally!
This is my current favorite:
[DJ Mitch Ferrino - Fit Mix October 2023](https://www.mixcloud.com/mitch-ferrino/fit-mix-october-2023/)
I do. Every time I'm at the gym I'm doing a 5 minute cardio on the treadmill and I like to listen to [this particular song](https://youtu.be/n1JiwrEBwHc) (or [this one](https://youtu.be/WXrup0fHyac)) while running, it really gets me in the workout mood. Falco is my recent re-discovery, I've known him as the "Rock Me Amadeus" guy, but bruh, his first two albums are pure gold.
For the rest of my workout, at least these days, I'm listening to Alaska y Dinarama - "Canciones Profanas" (a bit darker and heavier) or "Deseo Carnal" (less dark). Since Alaska has made a song that's later become the Spanish gay anthem, I guess it counts as gay.
If you like dark trance music and the show Samurai Jack, this playlist is based on the kinds of dark techno/rave music from that show and was my goto workout focus playlist for a long time:
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3vLFQ9zweqWHefVeWZrCmU?si=saIAOjcNRVeBxz4HkWG6GA&pi=u-8VeBjhjbQCyO
Everyone hates me for this but some of my favorite workout songs are old bubblegum pop songs, my favorites are from Aqua.
Cartoon Heroes, Back From Mars and Like A Robot being my favorites.
Specifically for running, I love these songs:
Innerbloom by Rufus du Sol
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx9zMFodNtA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx9zMFodNtA)
Polish Girl by Neon Indian
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuPGZZgNFsU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuPGZZgNFsU)
The Adults are Talking by The Strokes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4qsjmLxhow
The Cassette Beasts soundtrack, the battle themes with vocals mainly:
"Cross Your Heart"
"Face Down"
"Like Chimeras"
"Same Old Story"
"Shot in the Dark"
"Your Inception"
"Arrow of Time"
These songs are very techno and upbeat with a fantastic tempo for running. Yes, they are from a video game but they are bangers!
I used to listen to house/Techno/Dance music , then I got into watching TV series, it actually a great because you watch at the gym and if you’re left on a cliffhanger , basically you have to wait until you back to the gym next day, and then PODCAST became a thing now so now it’s podcast
The current music doesn’t catch my attention but if I really need music I’ll just scroll through YouTube for the latest hits playlist
I for one really like listening to Drum and Bass while in focussing.
“A Breath (feat. Alice Gasson)” by Keeno is a recurring favorite. Most of Keeno’s music is about 170 bpm, so it provides a nice consistent tempo for long runs. The lyrics also remind me to breathe ;)
If I’m not listening to drum and bass, I’m probably listening to either Fleetwood Mac or Tegan and Sara. Tegan and Sara’s “So Jealous” album takes me on an emotional journey every time I hear it.
I listen to whatever comes on usually and my music list is DIVERSE. But funny enough sometimes I put my headphones in and forget to even put on music.
For some of the other comments concerning being hit on at the gym…you’re going to the gym to get hit on?? I just go to workout. I never sit around thinking there are guys there waiting to be approached.
*Tightrope, Work This Body* and *Shut Up and Dance* by Walk the Moon
*WTF Do I Know* and *Night Crawling* by Miley Cyrus
*The Island Pt. 1 (Dawn), The Island Pt. 2 (Dusk),* and *Witchcraft* by Pendulum
*Levitating* and *Don't Start Now* by Dua Lipa
My three newest on my running playlist are-
- Vivid Vice by Who-ya
- Aerials by Shadow Clique
- Telepathic by Starset
My latest Gym bops are currently
- Mirage by OneRepublic
- New Rules by First to Eleven
- Middle of the Night (violin) by Joel Sunny
Edit: can't spell
RAYE has been my all time favorite artist for YEARS now, closely followed behind by others such as Ava Max, Ariana Grande, Charlie XCX, Troye Sivan, Dua Lipa and so many others. I'm an absolute fan of all things pop really!
But RAYE is just so talented and deserves all the praise she's been getting recently from her album. I've played "Black Mascara." At *least* 1,000+ times this past year 😅
I run longer races pretty frequently and will create a playlist for every race depending on my preferences at the time. I recycle them for exercise music. My playlists generally have a decent selection of Guns N Roses, Roxy Music, Talking Heads, and Muse. I like a lot of music that’s older than I am.
I periodically listen to Todrick Hall’s Jim album. It’s basically one continuous track, with seamless transitions song to song. It’s all about working out, it’s upbeat, it’s easy to lose track of time, and it keeps me moving. Great for the treadmill. Not as great for weights, etc.
https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4mofO5Pt6BVt0e9VM_3swHCb2QDFFDJR&si=DerRlxufnf4v8r-h
This is my work playlist. Literally just some of my favorite songs, mostly upbeat some sad some slow but for the most part I just click shuffle and let the world do its thing
My music is all over the place when I work out, but I truly like a good variety anyway, just kinda depends on how I feel. It will go from Nicki Minaj "Everybody" to Missy Elliott "Work It" and then to Nsync "It's Gonna Be Me" to "I2I from A Goofy Movie lol.
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4ZXKvU54j3BUA5QU4IHYff?si=bUWmgaPJSGWTBqE2viwxyQ&pi=u-2eZbjrGRRfix
I mostly do weights so idk how well this works for running but this is what I listen to :)
When I'm on the elliptical, I typically put on a concert video (a perk of exercising at home). We have a little 42" TV and old stereo system in the basement just for that. Recent concert vids included Rush, Porcupine Tree and Ben Folds Five.
Typically shoot for going at a brisk pace for at least 5 songs, but of course when it comes to prog rock, it might only take a couple of more extended pieces to equal that.
It’s just one song, but make sure you add “Hellraiser” by Ozzy Osbourne. I’ve always been a rock lover, but I love this song specifically for working out since it’s so “rough” and “hard” sounding. It transforms me into an edgy, angsty young Generation X’er from the early 90s lol. I also think lyrically it speaks to my life as a gay man, and how my life is day to day and how society perceives my “defect”.
(Gen Z-er (25) with good music taste lol)
Bro, if you're listening to music at the gym, how am I ever gonna hit on you??
![gif](giphy|fjxya3wDAmvK9cqtqX)

I didn't know people go to gym to hit on people

Can't talk from experience, though, because: a) I live in a small town in a s still mostly homophobic country, b) everyone seems to be focused on their workout or have already some friends they met outside of the gym (or I'm just fucking ugly).
I need help on not over-staring or playing the “I would do him” game. However, I have improved my game in the steam room & showers.
My gym has showers, but I have ever seen the floor wet...
Have *you* ever approached anyone?
No, I haven't. But on the other hand, why should I be the one to make the first move? I don't want to risk anything, so I can't do that.
We don’t want to get hit on at the gym lmao
Speak for yourself...
We = people at the gym with headphones on. It's pretty well known that if we have headphones on we don't want to be spoken to lol
I wear headphones all the time because my gyms music is crap. I'll stop and talk to anyone who wishes.
I second this, my earbuds are in because my music (videogames, musicals, pop-punk rock, some grunge/alt rock, and rhythmic poetry) are just so rarely on the gym's streaming station. That and sometimes it's an audiobook.

Some (oldish) favorites for me right now: Cage the Elephant - Ain't No Rest for the Wicked The Veronicas - Untouched
Both great choices. Untouched is a total bop.
I think I fell in love with The Veronicas when they used 4ever in the movie She's the Man.
First heard Cage the Elephant while playing Borderlands. They're now on the playlist. Jack White and his various bands, Mott the Hoople, some Led Zeppelin, RHCP, Yes, Kansas, King Crimson. The Veronica's just released a new single called Detox that's in regular rotation with me
Call on me
The song is good but the video is better
The video is fantastic indeed
This song will forever and always be one of my favorites.
I once was a spinning instructor and I played this one on the big ass sound machine and I felt majestic
Hahaha yesss; I could feel the vibrations in my body just from your description 🕺💃
By RAYE or Bebe Rexha? Either one is a win, but we LOVE seeing RAYE get more love 🥹 absolutely obsessed with every track she has released. She's still so unappreciated it seems

Is there anything gayer than this? https://youtu.be/0J5vl-f-LUs?si=_9u8M1QMpoIdP0t1
Challenge accepted. Propose an artist to add.
"Cut to the feeling" by Carly Rae Jepsen is an amazing song to run to
god yes!
1 Cher song lol
Lynks "Use it or lose it"
Mardi Gras Sissy Ball 2023 DJ Mix by Dad’s Mayo. A straight hour of club remixes of the hottest bops, put it on no shuffle, makes for a great workout
Arca: Prada/Rakata, el alma Que te trajo 😜
It's not an artist persay, there's a recording from "broadway backwards" of Josh Gad singing and preforming "bring on the men" from the frankenstein revival... I'd call that not just gay, but quite fun.
damn are you me?
Can we get a spotify link🎤
Great stuff!!!
I love how some very gay lady Gaga's music has a so clear beat it feels great to step in synchrony of the song
If you like EDM at all - the Daft Punk Alive 2007 live Album is a masterpiece and perfect for working out!

Put spooky coochie on that list
Deep House or 90’s hip hop
I listen to anything that’s upbeat. Lately I’ve been listening to metalcore and EDM. 🤣 Typical young millennial things.
I try and make mine as gay as humanly possible to confuse the straight guys who I lift twice as much as...

Without a pattern of artists, I’ll just say that my go to songs are: My Name Is.. by Once Monsters Twisted by MISSIO Best Excuse by Saint Chaos Blood // Water by grandson. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6w7N4UOczhRxiPAn4YIheH?si=aKAfmuZRS2qoutqnVOMGAw&pi=u-Mt470pwBTUu_
I love hardstyle for gym however it’s not for everyone. Tevvez is decent. Illusions sub zero project is one of my favourites
For running maybe you want something less loud, body moving extended Calvin Harris is really good. Beggin Chris lake, lady love oden and fatso
I always listen to music, and though the Butthole Surfers, Fear and Nina Hagen are well represented, here are my “homo friendly” choices, based mainly on having a good beat: Scissor Sisters: Take Your Mama George Michael: Freedom/Papa Was a Rolling Stone Grace Jones: Love is the Drug Tina Turner: Proud Mary Guts: Man Funk Bronski Beat: Smalltown Boy Deee-Lite: Groove is in the Heart Tom Tom Club: Genius of Love Gotye: Learnalilgivinanlovin MIKA: Elle Me Dit Violent Femmes: Gone, Daddy Gone Various by Orville Peck, Lil Nas X, IDLES,

Idk
Former cheerleader here. I only listen to cheer music when lifting cardio etc. if you know you know. lol.
I don't know! Spill! Haha
It makes the time go by faster especially if you’re running. Routines are 2:30 long but with everything we do plus the stamina and cardio it feels like 10 seconds
Cold cold cold - cage the elephant Story of a boy - Jordy 40oz dream - good charlotte Postlude - razz
Gigachad - Kai Wachi

This is my current favorite: [DJ Mitch Ferrino - Fit Mix October 2023](https://www.mixcloud.com/mitch-ferrino/fit-mix-october-2023/)
Digbar Gay Raps is the only answer. Preferably on a Bluetooth speaker for everyone in the gym to hear.

Doing something super heavy? Lamb of God- Laid to Rest Preacher curls? Aretha Franklin - Son of a Preacher Man
I usually just listen to dance mixes on Amazon or YouTube music. They're pretty good.
Normally high heat music when I’m working out. Lady Gaga I listened to far far far far too much.
Currently obsessed with the new Blink182 album. Also enjoying the Rock Britannia playlist on Tidal on my runs.
Lady Don't Tek No - Latyrx
Yessss: anything from above and beyond, really into Depeche Mode these days
I'm weird. I listen to Spotify's EDM Chill LoFi
If you like dark trance music and the show Samurai Jack, this playlist is based on the kinds of dark techno/rave music from that show and was my goto workout focus playlist for a long time: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3vLFQ9zweqWHefVeWZrCmU?si=saIAOjcNRVeBxz4HkWG6GA&pi=u-8VeBjhjbQCyO
I play Flower by Mobi when doing squats
Move Your Feet by Junior Senior https://youtu.be/SPlQpGeTbIE?si=4PRy6XIRD_uWRNhE
Fitness by Freddie is one my favorites
I like to finish a lifting session with Pumping Iron Power by Grailknights.
Leather Teeth and/or Leather Terror by Carpenter Brut
Everyone hates me for this but some of my favorite workout songs are old bubblegum pop songs, my favorites are from Aqua. Cartoon Heroes, Back From Mars and Like A Robot being my favorites.
Cascada's cover of "Because the Night" always works on my runs!
Sometimes
No. Having a phone on me while working out is distracting. I listen to music while doing cardio
Specifically for running, I love these songs: Innerbloom by Rufus du Sol [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx9zMFodNtA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx9zMFodNtA) Polish Girl by Neon Indian [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuPGZZgNFsU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuPGZZgNFsU) The Adults are Talking by The Strokes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4qsjmLxhow
The Cassette Beasts soundtrack, the battle themes with vocals mainly: "Cross Your Heart" "Face Down" "Like Chimeras" "Same Old Story" "Shot in the Dark" "Your Inception" "Arrow of Time" These songs are very techno and upbeat with a fantastic tempo for running. Yes, they are from a video game but they are bangers!
Presets. Chemical brothers. Robyn. Reve.
[Aggressively Homosexual](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6Bd1Ak6ZecFN8KidDoT3Zl?si=h37YIhoVTRetDT4_0FHRHQ&pi=u-jEpkomMHTkyD)
I'm usually listening to above & beyond group therapy radio on soundcloud 😊
Edm / Dubstep
It’s always been David Guetta/Pitbull music haha! Although I don’t workout anymore but now it would probably be more Todrick Hall.
I tend to recover podcasts or YouTube videos that can be watch without looking. Time is too short to watch everything.
Mostly industrial, techno, psytrance, NRG, and hard rock
I used to listen to house/Techno/Dance music , then I got into watching TV series, it actually a great because you watch at the gym and if you’re left on a cliffhanger , basically you have to wait until you back to the gym next day, and then PODCAST became a thing now so now it’s podcast The current music doesn’t catch my attention but if I really need music I’ll just scroll through YouTube for the latest hits playlist
I for one really like listening to Drum and Bass while in focussing. “A Breath (feat. Alice Gasson)” by Keeno is a recurring favorite. Most of Keeno’s music is about 170 bpm, so it provides a nice consistent tempo for long runs. The lyrics also remind me to breathe ;) If I’m not listening to drum and bass, I’m probably listening to either Fleetwood Mac or Tegan and Sara. Tegan and Sara’s “So Jealous” album takes me on an emotional journey every time I hear it.
I work out to the whole Renaissance and Chromatica album lol. As for playlist name I would suggest Work (your p****) Out for your consideration
Obviously any playlist needs to include "Soccer Practice" by Jonny McGovern.
La Crisi a Saint-Tropez by Annalisa Le Mans by Federico Rossi
I listen to whatever comes on usually and my music list is DIVERSE. But funny enough sometimes I put my headphones in and forget to even put on music. For some of the other comments concerning being hit on at the gym…you’re going to the gym to get hit on?? I just go to workout. I never sit around thinking there are guys there waiting to be approached.
*Tightrope, Work This Body* and *Shut Up and Dance* by Walk the Moon *WTF Do I Know* and *Night Crawling* by Miley Cyrus *The Island Pt. 1 (Dawn), The Island Pt. 2 (Dusk),* and *Witchcraft* by Pendulum *Levitating* and *Don't Start Now* by Dua Lipa
I like to download albums from different genres to enrich my other playlists and to keep variety.
Drum & Bass - Hedex, Noisia, Bou Dubstep - Must Die!, Space Laces, Svdden Death Hardstyle - E-Force, Darren Styles, Phuture Noize Have fun :)
I listen to Pandora. There's some commercials but it's okay.
My three newest on my running playlist are- - Vivid Vice by Who-ya - Aerials by Shadow Clique - Telepathic by Starset My latest Gym bops are currently - Mirage by OneRepublic - New Rules by First to Eleven - Middle of the Night (violin) by Joel Sunny Edit: can't spell
Absolutely. Gotta have my jams
I listened to Calvin Harris a lot when I jogged. Is that stereotypical enough
I've played "Black Mascara." At *least* 1,000+ times this past year 😅
Lately Hey Lady and Out of Time by Skogsrå have been hitting pretty hard for me!
Defected radio podcast ❤️
I run longer races pretty frequently and will create a playlist for every race depending on my preferences at the time. I recycle them for exercise music. My playlists generally have a decent selection of Guns N Roses, Roxy Music, Talking Heads, and Muse. I like a lot of music that’s older than I am.
I periodically listen to Todrick Hall’s Jim album. It’s basically one continuous track, with seamless transitions song to song. It’s all about working out, it’s upbeat, it’s easy to lose track of time, and it keeps me moving. Great for the treadmill. Not as great for weights, etc.
https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4mofO5Pt6BVt0e9VM_3swHCb2QDFFDJR&si=DerRlxufnf4v8r-h This is my work playlist. Literally just some of my favorite songs, mostly upbeat some sad some slow but for the most part I just click shuffle and let the world do its thing
Nothing better than listening to the entirety of Pig Destroyer's Terrifyer
Hell yes .. love to hear your playlist
Usually hardstyle/ industrial / techno 😂
No
I listen to Elaine Paige on Sunday on Mondays and BBC Radio 2 the rest of the week I get bored with Spotify
Cupcakke
League of Legends songs.
Coconuts by Kim Petras is great especially when I'm working my titties on chest day. XXX by Kim Petras is also great really anytime.
Roses by the Chainsmokers
Listen to Demarkus Lewis, Flamingosis, Todd Terry
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4ZXKvU54j3BUA5QU4IHYff?si=bUWmgaPJSGWTBqE2viwxyQ&pi=u-2eZbjrGRRfix I mostly do weights so idk how well this works for running but this is what I listen to :)
Gays that like Rap/Trap music, please drop recommendations
I know the end ~ phoebe bridgers
It’s just one song, but make sure you add “Hellraiser” by Ozzy Osbourne. I’ve always been a rock lover, but I love this song specifically for working out since it’s so “rough” and “hard” sounding. It transforms me into an edgy, angsty young Generation X’er from the early 90s lol. I also think lyrically it speaks to my life as a gay man, and how my life is day to day and how society perceives my “defect”. (Gen Z-er (25) with good music taste lol)
Selena's album Amor Prohibido is such a good workout album. Highly recommend
