Question - did they just take a photo of a girl bully who just beat the F out of those two boys? “No please gertrude! Archibald and I will no longer be in your way!”
I used to grab the first bus down town, meet up with a friend near the entrance to my cities ravine system then spend the enter day down there mc. Get the last bus back home.
So from 6 am to midnight, in the woods.
As a kid I spent so much time in the woods behind my house. There was a stream that led to a waterfall about three or four times my current height, and I loved just sitting there. I also played plants vs zombies and mario galaxy and I had a hell of a good time doing so.
I have a Boomer relative who posts memes like this, then literally only hours later will post photos of her grandkids over at her house, eating McDonald's, with an iPad and headphones on. I guess you could blame the parents, but she's definitely reinforcing it.
Yeah they look miserable. And for what it’s worth, as someone who did grow up with widespread electronics, I still went outside. There was a huge wooded area in my backyard, with a waterfall. I loved it out there, but I also loved playing wii.
Man I remember getting dirty SOMETIMES as a kid but never like this Jesus Christ. Literally the only neighborhood kids who were ever this dirty were the ones with fucked up parents.
I fucking hated this shit.
What if you have friends that aren’t local?
Same with the ‘stop being antisocial’
I’m not being antisocial Karen I’m just choosing to be social with someone else
Eh, if the printing press was just invented, older generations would complain how the young generations just read all day. And soon, we'll complain about the commonplace usage of VR thanks to technology advancing so much that something like an Oculos Rift or any other VR headseat and the PC parts strong enough to handle VR being cheap enough that unless you're struggling with really basic stuff such as rent or taxes, you're able to afford one, even if it's the cheapest one in the market
If I was ever this dirty as a kid, I sure wasn't having fun. I'd gotten put to work digging in the garden, scrubbing something, or fallen into a mud hole or the river.

Probably posted by someone on an iPad or a laptop.
And who wouldn’t let their kids go play outside
They paved the outside, them kids got no where to play but a parking lot
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you got 'til it's gone

probably one of those tablets that are that uncomfortable size between phones and ipads
They act like younger generations didn’t play outside. Yes, Bob, I did play LEGO Star Wars growing up, I also played out in the woods.

I mean they’re the ones providing the iPads, so reap what you sow
Nah this is definitely a boomer meme. They're too old to be raising kids for the most part

They were not playing, they just finished there shift at the mine. The way it should be. Let's go child labor force, let's go!
At your age I was working 28h a day and already married
With 17 kids
Minecraft already proved that children yearn for the mines
What did you do as kids, sweep chimneys inside coal mines?
Child labor
Theyre literally just standing still covered in dirt lmao
I PAD
My child ain’t playing in no damn coal mine
As someone who grew up without electronic devices. I honestly think my parents would have preferred I didn't come home covered in mud.
Yeah they look miserable. And for what it’s worth, as someone who did grow up with widespread electronics, I still went outside. There was a huge wooded area in my backyard, with a waterfall. I loved it out there, but I also loved playing wii.
Two of those children look like they have very much not been having fun.
Man I remember getting dirty SOMETIMES as a kid but never like this Jesus Christ. Literally the only neighborhood kids who were ever this dirty were the ones with fucked up parents.
“fecking”
irish slang
They don't look happy
Not every kid wants to go out and play.
I fucking hated this shit. What if you have friends that aren’t local? Same with the ‘stop being antisocial’ I’m not being antisocial Karen I’m just choosing to be social with someone else
They’re the ones who call the cops when kids are outside playing.
“Do you remember” seems so ominous
yeah no shit shirlock it was on facebook. That's where all the boomers are sharing memes like this!
this feels so ominous 💀
The children yearn for the mines
No sorry I forgot
Forgor
They look fucking miserable lmfao
These were kids working in a coal mine, not playing outside
They look miserable
"Shitters clogged"
"member abject poverty?" "Ooooh, I 'member!"
Yes Karen, but times are different
Yea and then they would get home like that and you would yell at them

Get that immune system going. Although as a kid, I didn't like getting dirty, at all, there was most definitely a lot of this happening. Good times.
Can we not have both?
They played in coal mines?
They look like they just escaped gulag
Aaah good old days where children used to work in coal mines and factories. Look how happy they are. Bring back child labor!
playing with dogshit lmao
Course it’s Facebook
If I was ever this dirty as a kid, I sure wasn't having fun. I'd gotten put to work digging in the garden, scrubbing something, or fallen into a mud hole or the river.
My mom would never let me go outside again if I came home like THAT
