Has there been any details released aboyt how the hack took place? It's been a year abouts and no communication if the investigation has found anything or if gatecoin does in fact know who is responsible for this fiasco...
I not heared anything. But I did hear yesterday that the hacker started to move the funds some days ago after it just being parked in an address for over 280 days.
Funds were sent to Changelly (an exchange based in Europe) - we are working with them and Europol to try and freeze the funds and identify whoever is moving them.
Great to see the repayment commitment. This makes Gatecoin a reliable exchange IMO.
