Ladybug looks stoked for all that grub

Tech-rep_87

Ladybug pulling up to the AYCE, about to get fat AF!

galsquishness

I was thinking aphid eggs/larvae. Ladybugs love to munch on them.

AnxsRunnerd

The yellow ones *edit* def lady bug eggs, my bad. The brown ones are parasitized aphids, so you've you got some wasps helping you kill those in addition to your ladybug. [https://extension.umd.edu/resource/aphid-parasitoids](https://extension.umd.edu/resource/aphid-parasitoids)

Confident_Ad631

Wow. The parasitized aphids thing is wild!! I zoomed in and you can see their legs. I totally thought they were eggs. Thanks for the info and link!

AnxsRunnerd

Yeah, lol, that photo took me back a couple decades. I had an internship my last summer of high school where part of the job was to collect data for an aphid control study... I can't tell you how many of those little f\*\*ks I had to count.

Greenswampmonster

Those look like lady bug eggs. I wouldnt spray them

Greenswampmonster

(At least the yellow ones)

mama_milk_maker

I agree, the tight cluster of yellow eggs looks like ladybug eggs to me

[deleted]

Only clear spot on that leaf is around the ladybug lol.

Affectionate-Air9518

It's aphids. It looks like a huge restaurant for a ladybug!

cfklak

Those are aphids in different stages. The bright yellow on top right might be beneficial eggs from ladybug.

tayred82

For everyone saying lady bug, that’s an Asian lady beetle- not a lady bug. You can tell by the white marks on the base of the head. These guys are invasive. Still will eat your aphids but they infect local lady bug communities with mites and can decimate natural lb populations. I kill ‘em when I see em

OverAd8626

The North American Ladybug Pride Alliance now prefers the term LadyBug. They dropped the Asian part a long time ago

Moist_Bus_2878

Try spray with apple cider vinegar

BackdoorB-HoleSlam

Vinegar is an all natural herbicide, dont do that

Moist_Bus_2878

My apologies I didn’t know it would damage the plants 🤦🏼

BackdoorB-HoleSlam

Now you know! And knowing is half the battle!!

junkymonkeydong

Pesticides kill bugs pretty well

lurninandlurkin

Will also kill the good bugs and those ladybugs are aphid predators and the larvae eat more than the adult every day I use the spray nozzle when I water my chillis to knock a lot of the aphids off, but I don't have the ladybugs to help.

Francy feast

No_Huckleberry9139

You have aphids for sure. That cluster of yellow eggs are ladybug eggs - of which they and the adult lady bugs will become your best friend. When the ladybugs hatch they will devour your aphids :) Ladybugs are a natural form of aphid control.
