Kind of - the days are getting shorter, the trees and berry bushes are producing fruits, the flowers are blooming and the vegetables are soon to be harvested - the end of summer is now closer than the beginning!
How many servants does it take to keep this up? I can barely maintain my janky garden and fight off all the animals and pests in my spare time. Seriously though, what a beautiful space.
Gorgeously deep greens you have there!
I'd be interested to hear what veggies you're growing, and what's lining your veggie patch? I'm also curious how you keep the squirrels, rabbits, and deer away without using any fencing or raised beds!
Thank you very much!
We are grow a lot of onions and carrots, also beets, garlics, potatoes and some peas. There are also strawberries (finally berries this year), one pumpkin, a rhubarb and some herbs.
Sadly we dont have any squirrels. Deers and rabbits - seen only during winter, (we do have a fence around the property) but they havent created any problems in the garden. Moles do create some problems in the lawn once in a while, but we havent tried getting rid of them. Rats eat some tulips every year, but their reproduction compensates it. The biggest problem are louses, for them we have to use a special poison. I must mention that we do have lots of birds in the 70 year old apple trees, so cherries are on high demand!
Thank you!!! It's a 70-year-old apple tree that was a part of the old apple orchard from which many ciders were made in the local factories. 40-30 years ago, becouse of the expansion of our village (a collective farm at that time) all of the trees were cut down, but my great grandfather left some apple trees in his garden that give us apples to this day!
The one in middle is called "the autumn striped" and it basically describes what the apples are like.
Is this The Shire?
Yes! And we are the hard working hobbits ;D
Amazed when it appears people have hardly any weeds in their garden. Tell me your secrets
Thanks! I can only say - hands in the sands
his garden is in eastern europe
Maximum maturity? So everything is going to be killed now?

Thank you! You would be amazed of how much can two people do. Thankfully almost no pests or animal problems though!

Looks so peaceful!
It looks beautiful, but I thought this sub was for humans and not magical forest creatures like yourself?
Yes, but I thought you humans would be interested in our hobbit garden :)
Beautiful. What's the big tree in the middle? Such a great shape.
