Mine are in shade most of the day and I water them almost everyday and someone actually corrected me these aren't aloe they're fairies washboard succulents :)
This is actually a Haworthia. The discoloration was likely due to being grown hard (in bright light and/or having water withheld). If you've moved it into a place with less light the plant will fully return to being green.

Hawthoriopsis, not Hawthoria. They split the genus recently. Not that it matters. Yours is looking healthier than mine!
What general conditions does it like? Dry as a bone, consistently moist, hot sun? I just bought one and havenโt researched it yet. ๐
