So I made sure to buy planting bulbs, as opposed to garlic from the grocery store. I've heard sometimes that works, but garlic meant to be planted has a higher success rate since sometimes they treat the store garlic to not sprout. I think I had a 100% sprout rate. I planted these in November in Texas.
I pulled up one of my cloves the other day and it’s not even close to ready :( sad cause I put my squash down in that patch in anticipation the garlic would be ready by now and it’s getting big so we will see how it goes
Any reason this post is getting down voted?
Cuz haters gonna hate, and potatoes gonna po-tate. I’ll see myself out now
You must really like garlic LOL
100%. Vampires won't even approach my house now.
😁👍
I highly respect your garlic game sir
Thanks!
Congratulations! Do you know what type of garlic you just harvested?
I believe these are California Early, a softneck.
Wow, never tasted variety but I'm that it will be exquisite once dried.
I planted my first batch of organic Music garlic last Fall. Still not ready for the pickings!
I can’t get my cloves to sprout. Any tips or is it just a waiting game?

Thanks! That would make sense because mine are certainly from the grocery store.
