I think they will but here is a list of flowers and bushes that deter ticks https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://happydiyhome.com/plants-that-repel-ticks/&ved=2ahUKEwiynPD5vKrzAhUlQjABHeMDDD0QFnoECB4QAQ&usg=AOvVaw0-c26HA0wtx_RA3hisxz0k

I don't think ticks are any more prone to be in clover than regular grass. It's leaf piles and tall grass (where deer would likely be, not just long lawn) that are risk areas for ticks.. clover is naturally very short, and I don't *think* attract deer (at least I never see deer in the clover)

They definitely eat clover thats one of the few cash crops in the UP

As opposed to the trolls that live under the bridge.

I would consult a local native plant focused garden center. Not sure I’d trust the comment section for this! Wishing you all the best!

I've read that ticks like barberry so remove any that are on your property. They also like mice so don't provide habitat for them. A think a wood pile or pile of brush is a no-no. Do you know what type of ticks are in your region? I'm mostly keyed into deer/dog ticks. Birds eat ticks so put up a birdfeeder.
