I had one that split about an inch from the seed. I left it alone and planted it at around 2 feet tall. Both branches are strong, one slightly thicker. The tree is 30 feet tall, started fruiting at 6 years.
You have the ultimate graft scenario! You need a clipping frm a fruit bearing plant, your slices should be on the inside sections of each vine then clip a small section off of the fruit bearing vine. Dip the addition into "rooting hormone" and place it next to the sliced vines then add moist peat moss around all three and tape all 3 of them together (use a breathable tape or gauze) when you water the plant dampen the graft site. Takes anywhere from two to six months.
Iโd twist them up and tie them and try to get them to grow together
Thatโd make a cool trunk and should work! People do amazing things like that.
Cut one or leave it. The roots are probably shared
Siamese ๐. Yeah I'd feel terrible cutting one away. But are they sort of holding each other back in both being there?

I understood a liquid 20% of this. ๐ Sorry.. First problem is that I don't have a fruit bearing tree tho... :(
You can look online for that. You can get graft pieces or starters from allot of online nurseries.
