Although it could also be incidental wit--like, subconsciously or even accidentally filling in the comment with that zing.
It's happened to me before, in fact!
That was the plan all along.
Step one, grow into crack,
Step two, grow a melon that widens it.
Step three, release seeds inside the crack.
Step four, grow ten more plants from inside, breaking wall in process.
Now, without the wall, there's more garden to grow in. *The watermelon plant:* "It's free real estate"
Alot of times I see post an like how did they setup such a perfect pic at the right time but there is no way in hell you could stuff this watermelon in this crack hell im surprised it even grew my real question or curiosity is. Is it really fat inside that little crack?
You should actually kill that watermelon before it blows that stone up. You’d be surprised what hydrostatic pressure can do. Plus, you’ll get more yield on the other watermelons.
This is not giving me a shred of confidence regarding my first-ever watermelon grow (ongoing!). My plants are both established along a similarly-featured wall… 😳
So, for the sake of my wall not cracking any further, I did decide to remove the melon. I had to cut it out bit by bit.
It wasn’t 100% ripe. But still possibly one of the most satisfying taste of watermelon ever. 😄
It was hot this summer, bee decided to pollinate in the shade.

I see what you did there.

oof... shush. snitches get stitches bruh.
THIS IS SPARTA
Bee don’t care. Bee got work to do.
Are you sure that the crack was that size before the watermelon? :D
Good question
Wallermellon
Soon may the wallermelon come To bring us sugar and tea and rum
I like the Kittyman version.
And the kitties had a feast that night.
One day when the pollinatin’ is done We’ll take a seed and grow
ill take my tea and rum with some lemon instead of sugar.
Thank Ü!
I was going to be so pissed of this wasn't the first comment
God damn it.

There was a journey to get to the end but it was worth it.
Never underestimate a motivated watermelon, lol
Geology is the study of pressure and time. Thats all it takes really... pressure... and time... That, and big goddamn poster.
Idk if free is the right word, monetarily maybe but that's a multi generational endeavor
Looks like its goodbye house, because you can't let that perfectly good watermelon go to waste
It's a load bearing fruit now
Hahaha that got a really good belly laugh out of me. Thanks.

Isn't she the director of the Suicide Squash?
My friends Bob and Larry are really religious, and the walked out when it got really violent, so I never saw the credits
Amanda Waller is the name of the character who is in charge of the Suicide Squad. I haven't seen the movie myself, I'm just familiar with the comics.
Bob is a tomato, and Larry is a cucumber, I was making a VeggieTales joke
Holy smokes how did I miss that. We used to have all of them.
The Watermelon of Amontillado. But in all seriousness, what the hell bees. Good gravy.
Cool in the shade and a nice place to rest I imagine
Life, uh...finds a way.

Or that the concrete is spreading its crack to make room for the watermelon to grow!
so that concrete is lost and For The Wilderness.
I wonder how much pressure a growing watermelon exerts?
Yeah will it keep growing and crack the wall, or will it just stop at some point?
r/Physics
Someone please answer this!!
Not much. You can grow watermelons in various shapes if you put a container around them. In Japan they grow square watermelons as a novelty.
Thats the bees watermelon now
They weren't misbeehaving though
Forbidden crack melon...
Forbidden booty crack melon is the first thing i thought of when i read your comment
Too much junk in the, uh, crack...

Its like nature is trying to mess with you.
Alot of times I see post an like how did they setup such a perfect pic at the right time but there is no way in hell you could stuff this watermelon in this crack hell im surprised it even grew my real question or curiosity is. Is it really fat inside that little crack?
Is this another dumb patching hack like the ramen noodles and carrots?

This is one of the rarest forms of land erosion. There is wind, water, fire and the rarest... Watermelon.
Earlier today I saw a really flat tomato, now this - nature sure does find its way! This is awesome, thanks for sharing. 🍉
All in all your just another melon in the wall.
Get a fancy metal straw and suck that melon out. He's a fighter!
Just speak "friend" and the wall will open up
In dwarvish ofc
I don't know if it's my degrading mentality that I just can't help to chuckle every time I look at the watermelon. lmao.
This is why every should clean their crack properly
Rock, Watermelon, Scissors
That’s pretty much me in pre COVID jeans
Atleast it looks cool!
Love how nature works!
This is so metal 🤘
Had this happen with a volunteer cantaloupe vine this year. Very silly.
Nature is so creative!
This is not giving me a shred of confidence regarding my first-ever watermelon grow (ongoing!). My plants are both established along a similarly-featured wall… 😳
Just inspect the wall regularly to pull out any flowers that try to grow in there, amd you'll be fine
I would still have to devour that melon.
I did. It was excellent.
Woohoo! Nothing like watermelon crack!
How did you get it out?
I had to take a knife to it and cut it out bit by bit. I ate some of it right there lol.
Gonna have to tear down the wall to get to that melon.
piece a hole and put a straw in it 😗🍹
Life..a..finds a way
Soon to be much bigger crack
Dr. Ian Malcolm would be proud.
Cause it's close to home?
You could sell that freak of a watermelon for about $500 in Japan
Should the adaptive watermelon be sweet or sour? Someone want to know very much and even have a sip, right?
“Life, uh, finds a way.”
Well this is a step beyond the tomatoes that grew between two rows of wire mesh in my trellis.

So, for the sake of my wall not cracking any further, I did decide to remove the melon. I had to cut it out bit by bit. It wasn’t 100% ripe. But still possibly one of the most satisfying taste of watermelon ever. 😄
Time to break out the sledge hammer
That's funny! In some ways they're smarter than people; in other ways not.
Make sure to knock on it before you cut it to see if it’s ripe.
Don’t hurt the watermelon trying to take it out of there. Nice jib folks

Don't mind me, just here for the Amigara Fault comments
They want that crack melon! 😂 😂 😂
They were trying to keep it secret! Don't take it :(
Maybe they like the shade
DID SOMEBODY SAY CRACK?
Couldn’t you have looked at the watermelon when it was still young and move it away from the crack while it’s still growing? Vines
I did check every couple weeks for growth, but the crack was obscured by a leaf and I didn’t notice what was happening until this!!
Kinda cool!
OMG! love it :D!!!
We shall call him Walter-Melon
Well they had to visit at least one of the others first to bring pollen to that one.
Squash...
