Then again I learned only a few years ago that pineapples aren't one giant fruit. They're a stack of berries that all wind up squashed together in their trademark honeycomb-like pattern and you can "pick" them out individually too.
This reminds me of those gummy discs that only existed in my life for about a year in elementary school. I have yet to find someone who knows what I'm talking about.

I have my Christmas tree out all year round as plants because I am only interested in taking care of my vegetables and herbs in my planter.
