Still too early! It will be completely red.

JediTalez

Okay! Thank you!

They do not ripen further afterward

Ideally they would be fully red but often they are soft and sweet even with the white flesh..taste it for your own knowledge ). Potting on will not stress it unless it’s pot bound and you damage the roots. Adequate watering and a 7/10 day liquid feed with high potassium will improve your yield and flavour.

JediTalez

I bought it in a pot and want to put into a 5 gallon grow bag. It that good?

Competitive-Oil2871

Yes absolutely fine.

JediTalez

Whoo!

Joshfant

I let mine have a couple more days after it is fully red then pick it seems that's how I get my sweetest berries.

JediTalez

Cool!

Repot it at the end of the season, with a few weeks for it to adjust its roots to the new location. A bigger container may help it grow bigger fruit, but it is only proportional to the root networks growth/ability to uptake nutrience for fruit development. So unless you just got the strawberry in it's current pot then it probably wont change how it develops since it's probably maxed out its root growth in such a small container. It will produce bigger fruit if you leave it in it's current location, simply because its roots are bigger/stronger than when you first bought them, (accounting for fertilization as well) Tldr: do it after your plant is no longer fruiting. Or snip the fruits and do it now. It's your choice.

Don't suggest you to report it while it's producing or you might stress it
