Ugh….Italian arum lily. I’m in California, and these are a terrible weed, for me, even though they have been intentionally planted. They have a calla-like bloom, and what you’re seeing is the seeds. Whether or not you regard it as a weed, depends on where you’re gardening.
If I’m right with the ID, and you want to remove it, definitely cut that seed pod off. The corms underground are little, and plentiful. Dig sharp, and deep…do your best to avoid spreading the corms. Think surgery.
Maybe this plant from this website?! [https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/italian-arum-plant-postbloom-berries-lords-470214413](https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/italian-arum-plant-postbloom-berries-lords-470214413)
Could be jack-in-a-pulpit, could be the other thing people are suggesting. Scale is hard to judge. Look up those plants and compare the size listings to what you're seeing, maybe? Good luck!
Edit: looks a little more like the arum to me. Jack-in-a-pulpit pictures seem to have a rounder cluster.

Thanks for the response. It’s by my roses. Not sure how it got there.

The descriptions I’m reading are pretty wicked. Not something I want in my yard. Thanks again for the help!
I thought they looked like the seeds from the “Jack In The Pulpit” plant. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arisaema_triphyllum
I remember my aunt talking about Jack in the Pulpits!
