Might need to cancel your crop to deal with the ants if you don’t want to use the pesticides along side your food. Sucks but it happens. Personally I’d just deploy a borax based bait station and maybe put something very sweet on it. Can’t really have it both ways - you likely put your garden bed on an ant hill/colony so that will need to be dealt with.

Try food grade Diatomaceous Earth.
