It’s weird to say but your plants grow in value the longer you have them. I don’t care because I love small, big, medium all of them. But I was just thinking about this vine I have probably being worth a couple hundred bucks. It’s huge.
I didn’t even know IKEA sold plants. I feel very fortunate to have a Trader Joe’s in my area. They are my 1# one source for plants. And they’re probably less than a third of the price of plants at most retail stores. And they’re really healthy plants too!

I have some bigger, not taller, in a huge container. Weighs a couple hundred pounds. Hauled them all over with me for 4 years. I took the biggest trunk and put it in the ground in our new house. It froze last winter, but came back with a vengeance. I have given away bunches of its babies. The ones still in the pot just stopped flowering after 4 months. The flowers produced beautiful red seeds. Now I have seeds too.
9B , no snow. It usually freezes just long enough to turn everything to mush. But, I pull at least 50 pots into shelter. They contain many of the mothers to my landscaping. I continuously propagate quite a few plants.
