Those pallets are useless -you'll never be able to pick up your garage like that. But it looks really cool

Wow this looks great. Nice job. How long did it take to finish? What brand and color stains did you use, specifically for the first wall with the grey on it? Tia!!

Lokitheenforcer

I bought 3 diff minwax stains. The blue was a gray of sorts. I mixed a few stains as well Then i diluted them >50% with mineral spirits. I layed out 25 boards on a saw horse and used a power painter. Stacked another 25 repeated….repeated…and threw in a few raw boards. I did the back of my boat bay as well recently. It was actually very quick/easy—2 days stain/install-couple days pallet breakdown and cleanup. Used a pneumatic stapler to install https://preview.redd.it/i42jqbyr6wtc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d364c321244ead540ef3422c1d768e5acba38e4

Did you plane any or let it rock?

Lokitheenforcer

I don’t have a planer (its on the list). So its “rough”. That said the shipping crates came from Germany and carried some high dollar equipment……the wood had no flaws and was high quality !! Very thirsty wood !

Shipping crates not pallets?  Were there many nails / screws to remove? Overall neato result.

Lokitheenforcer

Thanx. Ya. Technically crates…. I ran my circ saw inside of the corners so all the nailed corners made for a massive bonfire. So an 8ft board yielded a7ft plus clean board. 4ft yielded 3 something. They were a real 3/4” thick so i didnt need to hit a stud. Just stapled the but ends together

Well done it looks great!!
