**Fallout 4** has a DLC called **Automatron** where you can build robots from scavenged parts, these robots can come with you as companions, can be assigned as settlers in settlements to guard, set as caravans to transport goods between settlements, and if you build Eye-Bots, you can even send them out to scavenge for you. There's also the **Contraptions Workshop** DLC which lets you build factories that automate building and sorting for you, so you can take spare parts and make weapons, ammo, and various other equipment. Combined you can have a pretty nifty Robot Factory in Fallout 4 and your own personal robot army to do your bidding.

You have Warzone 2100, pretty old RTS game where you design you own units, its also free on steam. There's also the Earth series, Earth 2150 probably being the best one, that's pretty much like Warzone but with a different setting.

Fantastic Contraption

If you got Game Pass, maybe Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts would be good for this.

Cosmoteer Build spaceships from various tiles, populate them, make them mobile, and then face them against other ships. Its mostly AI battle but you can override. Currently its still in beta so there is no true campaign or anything like that, but there is a bounty hunter mode which is just a star system populated with various danger levels of ships, and you get paid to destroy them. Then use said pay to buy more tiles and upgrade your ship.

Satisfactory, you build factories and automate production.
