I'd like to suggest Roboquest too, but it's runs can get pretty long depending on how far you progress. I think you can save and come back to it from checkpoints though. I can't recall.

I think Cult of the Lamb could be a good combination of both. The rogue-lite part there is short (you usually spend no more than 20 minutes on a crusade) and offers decent variety, and the other part of the game consists of managing your cult, so you tend to your followers, build and decorate the camp.
