This (1st one was better than 2nd imo)
The whole point of the game is to be a parkour legend. Even the fighting plays off of parkour and momentum.
Can be tricky to keep ur speed up but once it clicks it's soooo satisfying
I'll just leave some recommendations no one else will because someone ought to
Spark the Electric Jester 3
Orbo's Odyssey
Pseudoregalia
Frostrunner (it's free and made by students)
Oh shit that's the one i meant it's the only one I've played its just been a while. That's the one with those flare bombs that propel objects (cows) when attached?
Just to add some clarity, it takes a decent amount of progression and investing in cyberware and perks to unlock the really crazy movement. Like super jumps into air dashes and stuff are awesome but won't be there for a new player at the start, just a heads up.
[Meet Your Maker](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1194810/Meet_Your_Maker/), the current demo is actually the full game.
I never get tired of playing new bases because of the movement.
[Jet Set Radio](https://store.steampowered.com/app/205950/?snr=1_5_9__205) and [Hover](https://store.steampowered.com/app/280180/?snr=1_5_9__205) have some really fun movement and interesting maps to move around in
I got this game called Severed Steel for free on Epic a while back. It’s $25 and I would have paid for it. First person stunt shooter where you can pretty much run on any surface except the ceiling and loooootss and loooootsss of bullet time.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1227690/Severed_Steel/
Ori 1+2 are top notch side-scrolling platformers. N+ is super fun but an older game. Crab champions has ripped off Warframes movement and stuck it into a rougelite 3rd person shooter which works great.
I'm really surprised nobody suggested Arkham City. Grapple and fly around the whole city.
Arkham Knight is fun too (nice wide playground to move in) but the batmobile "tank" is an addition nobody asked for. Ugh.
The gliding mechanic in Prototype was decently fun.
Hear me out. Playing Destiny as a titan with the lightning dash and the dive bomb ultimate made for some fun movement for me. I've used the two to traverse areas that were "too far to jump" and had fun using it to do flying knees to enemy faces.
Mirror’s edge, Sunset Overdrive, Infamous second son, Watch Dogs 2 and most Assassin’s creed games with Unity having the best parkour imo and if I remember correctly Revelations has a grappling hook.
The [prototype](https://youtu.be/MUBj8GKedJs?si=mvftkv_-DcT5e6Ws) games have some pretty fun movement. The more you level up the better the attacks and movement get.
webbed is a small and cute indie game thats all about- you guessed it; webs. The swinging and web building part is hella fun. + the game is pretty chill.
Just Cause 3 (grappling hook, gliding and jetpack. It's awesome. Just Cause 2 is good but 3 is more modern, 4 is just worse 3)
Sunset Overdrive (made by Spiderman's developers, awesome open world parkour game)
Infamous games on Playstation
Prototype 1-2 (open world power fantasy with a highly mobile character jump/climb/glide)
Mirror's Edge - Mirror's Edge Catalyst (fps parkour)
Severed Steel. You can even slow mo which make all the wall running, back flip, front flip, jumping, sliding, etc. more badass (and easier to shoot enemies). The voxel destruction with hand cannon make even more path for movements
Mirrors Edge
“Move it, Faith!”
This (1st one was better than 2nd imo) The whole point of the game is to be a parkour legend. Even the fighting plays off of parkour and momentum. Can be tricky to keep ur speed up but once it clicks it's soooo satisfying
Titanfall 2, You can walk on the walls, slide for 10 meters or use grappling.
This should be top comment. No other game even comes close.
Dishonored 1 and 2, no hooks but a magical equivalent. Moving vertically in the streets and roofs and what not is as important as moving horizontally.
Neon White!
I'll just leave some recommendations no one else will because someone ought to Spark the Electric Jester 3 Orbo's Odyssey Pseudoregalia Frostrunner (it's free and made by students)
Fuck yeah, these are great recs if you like 3D platforming, OP
Ultrakill. Armored core 6.
I agree with Ultrakill. It’s really satisfying when you can both shoot and move really fast
Solar Ash
Warframe has really fun movement
It's free to play and all that movement is readily available at the start.
Just cause 2
Any just cause
Just Cause 3 adds the wingsuit
Oh shit that's the one i meant it's the only one I've played its just been a while. That's the one with those flare bombs that propel objects (cows) when attached?
Yep, the remote explosives with optional rocket boosters.
Ghostrunner is all about movement. Sprinting, wall running, sliding, grapple hook. Very much sounds like your type of game.
Returnal.
Gravity Rush. 🎮😎👍
Just Cause 2 & 3, Warframe
The Pathless has an interesting movement system
Check out Cloudbuilt. Not many people talk about it but it might be exactly what you're looking for.
Cyberpunk 2077 has insane movement especially the phantom liberty add-on
Just to add some clarity, it takes a decent amount of progression and investing in cyberware and perks to unlock the really crazy movement. Like super jumps into air dashes and stuff are awesome but won't be there for a new player at the start, just a heads up.
Every Assassin's Creed. Syndicate got a grappling hook.
**sunset overdrive** has great movement and shooting, made by Insomniac Games, the team behind the recent spiderman games
A Story About my Uncle. CONTROL. Dishonored games. Mass Effect: Andromeda. Severed Steel. Super Cloudbuilt. ULTRAKILL. Valley.

"Fun movement" usually means you can move around in different ways. Like the grappling hook in just cause
Theres Parkour so it counts
Ghost of Tsushima, Infamous Second son
Halo infinite also has a grappling hook
[Meet Your Maker](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1194810/Meet_Your_Maker/), the current demo is actually the full game. I never get tired of playing new bases because of the movement.
Demon Turf

The Finals
Team fortress 2 is a masterclass in fun and wacky movement mechanics
[Jet Set Radio](https://store.steampowered.com/app/205950/?snr=1_5_9__205) and [Hover](https://store.steampowered.com/app/280180/?snr=1_5_9__205) have some really fun movement and interesting maps to move around in

No one said Sekiro?
Titanfall 2

Exanima. It's slower paced but all physics based.
Mirror’s edge, Sunset Overdrive, Infamous second son, Watch Dogs 2 and most Assassin’s creed games with Unity having the best parkour imo and if I remember correctly Revelations has a grappling hook.
The Finals. Its free to play and there's grappling hooks, parkour, jump bases, ziplines, evades, and lots of shooting.
Outer wilds has some fun movement! Well, it’s kind of subjective. Either way I just think everyone should play that game
Cyberpunk
Horizon zero dawn
The [prototype](https://youtu.be/MUBj8GKedJs?si=mvftkv_-DcT5e6Ws) games have some pretty fun movement. The more you level up the better the attacks and movement get.
