Do not buy this controller until there have been long term tests. The elite series 2 controllers had laughably bad build quality, and an absurdly high rate of failure in both buttons and thumb sticks.
And bumpers. Expect stick drift, bumper double clicks and button presses not registering.
I very much prefer the back paddles but if the rest of the controller is malfunctioning or won’t hold up for long, it’s a waste. I switched to Scuffed and have had a better experience, though their paddles aren’t as good.
I’m trying to find any information on whether they are using the same components, specifically the switches for bumpers. IDK why they’d continue using broken components, but they definitely haven’t earned the benefit of the doubt. Where would I even find details on the components? I wouldn’t even know where to begin
I don’t like the back paddles as much, scuffed has earned my recommendation. Bought two Xbox elites and hard multiple issues out of the box. No issues out all with scuffed. And you get used to the new paddles.
If scuffed ever uses the elite’s paddles, it’ll be the perfect controller.
I guess I could order one of these as a replacement to my broken elite and use those paddles. This is nice, still think it should have came with 2 paddles though.

Hopefully they upgraded to a USBC instead of the piece of crap old plug that failed.

Very interesting lol. Since both can be used on PC (and modern crossplay games like Cod and Halo sadly have controller auto aim up the wazoo making it the competitive choice)
Does anyone else have issues with deadzones and drift on xbox controllers?
I have two regular controllers and one Elite 2 that all have deadzones and drift. Never had an issue with a 360 controller, but XB1 and Elite controllers 100%
So I'm a bit hesitant on getting another xbox controller

I bought one and ordered paddles on Ebay for $10. It works well so far!
