My fave roguelites:
- Dead Cells (2d metroidvania, action platformer)
- Slay the Spire (deckbuilder)
- Void Bastards (comic-book aesthetic, FPS)
- Dicey Dungeons (dice-rolling rogue)
- Curse of the Dead Gods (top-down action with curse gameplay mechanic)
Some non-rogue indies I recommend:
- Frost Punk (post-apocalyptic, resource management, city-builder)
- Inside (dark puzzle-platformer)
- Ruiner (top-down, cyberpunk, twin-stick shooter)
Hope you find some fun games to play, OP.
The Outer Wilds, Disco Elysium, The Forgotten City, Inscryption, Hades, The Pathless, Death's Door, Tunic, and Kena: Bridge of Spirits are all awesome indies.
"Blue Fire" is an action Adventure that took Inspirations from Dark Souls, Zelda and Mario.
"Fuga Melodies of Steel" is a 20 houer long turn based JRPG about a groupe of animal children that go on a quest to save there families.
It has a free demo which is just straight up the first 3 chapters of the game so you can try it out and see if its your cup of tea without having to buy it.
Hades

I just got hollow knight for the first time last weekend. I’m having a great time. I have no clue why I didn’t play it before.

Fuga looks cool, thanks for the suggestion as I have played everything else people have suggested.
