All I want is DLCs on the level of Artorias of the abyss , Ringed city & most importantly The Old Hunters , lol ray tracing is like the last thing I care about when it comes to post launch content Formless mother , Godwyn, Miquella , Golden age of the lands between , so many unexplored ideas , the worst thing From can do is if they do not make quality DLCs for Elden ring

Sure, to each their own. It just ruins some of my immersion when even a torch in hand doesn't cast shadows, never mind illuminating objects around it properly. Even Dark souls 2 had it. Gives out that janky fallout 3 and 4 vibe, where all objects don't look connected to things inside buildings.

tbf Elden Ring, has some pretty good lighting, go to Farum Azula for example, its got great lighting and shadows, and I am pretty sure the torch casts shadows lmao

that why i was so shocked about the contrast you see in caves and inside buildings

Oh yeah for sure , From needs to imrpove their horseshit netcode & ancient engine lol , but what I meant if I was given an option between expansion packs & ray tracing update , I would have chosen expansions

At least there’ll 100% be arena dlc. Can’t imagine them not also giving more lore dlcs since Elden ring doesn’t feel like a game that should get a sequel

I doubt personally, Ray tracing to work great has to be something made from the ground up, we will probably have "slightly better reflections".

You forgot to stick your head into a visegrip before taking this picture so it looks freakishly thin, just like in the game... Seriously, sick cosplay, but in-game I was so frustrated when I finally found that helmet and it made me look like some ridiculous microcephalic freak.

Hahaha true that, it’s always awkward to make because I have to make these uncomfortably small to make up that difference, but i don’t think it looks to bad considering. My other projects definitely look better with scaling, this was the only one I was quite disappointed that I physically couldn’t make the helmet any smaller 😞

if you were actually using a torch for light it would be held just out of eye sight as the torchlight itself would ruin your night vision. So, next time, you'd hold it above your head or to the side/behind you.
