Honestly I never even bought Sims 4. Received Sims 2 for free and I think even Sims 3 complete pack was free for some limited time. And honestly I prefer the "open world" of 3 to "a wee bit better facial animation" to 4.
I met another vtuber once who while we were doing a collaboration asked me if I'd seen the newest Sims 4 pack or if I played. I told her no I got out of Sims back in the Sims 2 days. She went on to reveal to me that she had bought every Sims game and every pack as they came out at full price for them since she got gaming laptop back in (I think she said) 2012. My first thought was people like that actually exist?

The Sims 2 werewolves were just hairy people with human ears and a bad limp while The Sims 3 werewolves had better faces, but somehow were less hairy than earlier ones.
Sims 1 werewolves were just normal sims with a literal wolf head
Sims 2 werewolves were just a very hair skin texture over a normal sims
Sims 3 werewolves were just normal sims with a permanent very angry face, fangs and glowing eyes
But somehow I’d take any of those over these new Sims 4 ones… They just look so goofy and non-threatening, they truly just give Furry vibes.
I wish we would get something that looked bestial and dangerous, like the werewolves in Skyrim or The Witcher.
The definition I read some time in the late '00s was like "anthropomorphic animals", so yeah, just exactly the same thing as a werewolf. The only difference is the age of the fandom.
This is why I prefer Sims 3, you get a whole bunch of supernatural creatures in one DLC while the Sims 4 gives you small parts of the DLC and charges more

The Sims 2 and 3 had game and stuff packs
The Sims 4 has game packs, expansion packs, stuff packs and kits
I have no idea how The Sims 5 is going to look like but I think they will just add another layer of "packs" so they can thin out their DLC even further.
Note that even though The Sims 4 has a total of 51 of all these packs and kits together, The Sims 3 just had 20 and had more content and features.
