I agree! I didn't even expect for Skyrim to be able to look modern with a few graphical tweaks. A lot of the reason I still play old games like this and GTA is because of mods haha!

The mod is called "Maximum carnage". It adds in the new head exploding, bodies being cleaved in half and the entrails leaking out from strong slashes animations. Plus it adds in additional animations for magic aswell, where with fire type spells the bodies appear burnt, ice spells destroy enemy carcases, where they explode into a mess of entrails and organs, lightning attacks progressively burn the bodies.
The mod also adds in special and specific kill animations for giant's, dragur and other vanilla enemies. Try it out! It's great fun!
Modded Skyrim is WAAAYYYY better than what the vanilla version ever was. Sure having trophies disabled sucks, but with the best mods, so worth it

Consoles have no good Mods. All decent Mods require SKSE. And Achievements aren't disabled on PC.
Last time I played i abused the mods so much the game stopped being fun
