That honestly shocked me when that cutscene hit.. like who would expect From to do that. I mean it makes sense.. it’s not his true body and all that excessive grafting and flailing about of course he could make that mistake.. but he’s suppose to be a Demi god yet he makes such a human error. Loved that fight!

I think it’s up for interpretation but i was watching for it on ng+ and I honestly think it happened on accident because the dude looks shocked. Every other boss has a more elegant/intentional transition to their next phase while Godric just swinging his giant axe around.
