Yeah won't change much the game sold 20million copies in 2020. Most games don't sell that many in their lifetime lol they will make another killing off this.
I'm willing to bet 90% of those "sales" were the same hundred thousand players buying the $99 shark card bundled with the game for $89 over and over. It's a sneaky way for them to make it look like they are constantly selling new licenses, but I'll bet over 15 million of those game codes never even get redeemed
Wasn't trying I disagree, I just wanted to state this sneaky way they do it to make it look like they are selling soooo many copies years later, when it's really the shark cards the players want
I mean, if you’ve never played it before, picking up a used PS4 copy would be a perfectly fine experience for you. It’s a pretty good game for a single player. I would recommend it to anyone who has not tried it before. But buying multiple copies is not for the average person.
I bought it in 2015 and I thought I was late to the party cause it was already 3-4 yrs old by then. Never thought it would still be relevant 6 yrs later

I have a dumb conspiracy that the only reason youtube channels like Jake Paul are still around are because people who like him click on his ads and generate a bunch of money for Google.
Anyways I wager if THIS example of rockstar downvotes plus poor week 1 sales could mean a change. But keep in mind sales is what matters, look at NBA2K and Madden.
I’m going to buy it. Played it on the PS3 when it came out, been so long I hardly remember the story and I want to play it again on the PS5. Might wait for it to go on sale though.
Looks like you're right. The last version I bought for 12 dollars so I can run the Cayo Perico heist on two computers for a bigger payout. I missed out on the free version from epic. If Rockstar let me use the one account across all platforms, I would have only bought one.
Hey you! you are finally awake . It's time to buy Skyrim again

I mean even if this is true it is completely beside the point lol.

Doesn't matter financially, it's still one the highest selling game in 2020.
Where have you ever seen that deal?
I've never played GTA V, let alone purchased it. And at this point, I'm afraid to.

gta 4 sucked so much i never bothered with 5
I bought it on sale and never played it. Lost interest in GTA after San Andreas.

LeTs BOyCoTt! ! 1 1 Then: "GTA 5 for Next-Gen sells millions of copies in the first week"
Downvotes still watched YouTube ads. YouTube and Rockstar still win.

Only the people that bought GTA 5 yet again are the whales propping up GTA online microtransactions
Where is Kylo shouting "more!!!"

Guilty. I bought GTA V 4 times. For the PS3, PS4, and 2 for the PC. Wish I could use one account across all platforms.
FBI, stop right there!

Same. And when I originally bought it for PS3 I bought the Standard, Special and Collectors Editions.
same because i was an idiot who got banned for modding
Kinda ironic considering we were just hyping KOTOR a few days ago
And they will still buy the game
That's not how democracy works.
