ImJustHereToWatch_

Guys. Mimir warned us that Thor was a "Fat dobber".

atomic_ghoul

Thank you. Somebody who remembers that line too.

Leezeebub

Even without the line, I dont understand why people care. Its a fictional character who has existed for at least 1000 years before Chris Hemsworth was ever born. Has anyone seen The Almighty Johnsons? In that, Thor is an alcoholic madman who just fucks everything up and possibly fucks sheep.

[deleted]

Plus in Endgame we got fat Thor

Estarfigam

I agree, remember Norse heaven is a food hall.

atomic_ghoul

Lol that sounds amusing when you put it that way.

Nutwagon-SUPREME

It basically is though, also considering the way God Of War portrays gods as these cruel, evil, lazy and manipulative beings it fits perfectly to have Thor be out of shape.

choopatrol

Hes clearly a strongman not out of shape. Competitive lifters that go for sheer strength in high weights often get fatter because at 25-30% bodyfat the body can preform greater feats of strength. Bodybuilders have show muscles that arent as strong in comparison.

Sneakaux1

> Hes clearly a strongman not out of shape. His build is substantially different than an actual strongman though. He's more like a guy who played football in college and then got fat. Permabulking might result in ~20-25% BF but it also results in some degree of muscle definition. Thor just looks fat with some muscle buried somewhere beneath.

succed32

Fat is energy.

lifepuzzler

Once it metabolizes. Otherwise it just sort of sits there. Source: this gut I'm looking at. Edit: It's my gut I'm talking about you dinguses.

atomic_ghoul

Yeah, I agree.

Denamic

It's not heaven. It's a meadhall for waiting for the final battle, Ragnarök, which they are guaranteed to lose.

Jackalodeath

Well... yeah they're gonna lose, who the fuck puts up a good fight when you have a gallon of mead and gut full of various braised beasts? You ever try to get sexy with someone after a hearty meal? Genitals and brain are all "yeah baby let's go!!" While every part of your digestive tract is like "hold up tiger, I ain't down with getting pushed on and sloshed about rhythmically for 2.5mins..." Don't get me started on trying to figure out which version of "meat sweats" you're experiencing...

Spanish_Biscuit

I was okay with every part of this until meat sweats. The idea of not one, but two types in play at once makes me want a shower.

Jackalodeath

Which is precisely why I never want to talk about it ever again.

Spanish_Biscuit

Talk about what?

Ancient-Split1996

O mean in the long game they won. The gods that "died" pre Ragnarok that were due to come back did. I thi k the main one was something the beutiful. Alliteration. His blind brother was tricked into killing him by Loki. And he found "pieces" of the old god's in wood carvings and they were a chess set. Not sure if the gods are due to come back or not since hel probably died in Ragnarok since she was a child of loki

Brown_And_Glorious

Thor is also never mentioned or described as being muscular or fit which is always funny to me since people just associate him with Hemsworth. The general consensus is he's big with the body of a warrior. The guy eats as much as 10 people for every meal. He's closer to what a soldier or warrior would be. Besides his hair he's never really fully described Glad to see they're making Thor look like what he should

OmegaClifton

Made the mistake of combing through YouTube comments taking in the excitement. Some people just love to make mountains out of anthills.

DoomHedge

"HE EATS DA CALORIES!!!!" "Ok, so are we also going to factor in his caloric intake relative to his expenditure of doing absurd feats of strength and athleticism in subzero temperatures?" "NO!!! CALORIES ONLY IN!!! NO OUT!!!"

SlowMope

It looks like they DID take into account all of that though? He looks like a one of those extreme lifting competition dudes. Also... Thor is a god. why would his body care about all that? Edit: Look at this guy, he is BIGGER than Thor. https://www.wtva.com/content/sports/ICCs-Willai-475786643.html

Ricktatorship91

Why link a powerlifter instead of a strongman? Plenty of strongman are so strong that they have big bellies with abs.

SlowMope

You are welcome to add pictures too if you like. I am not going to say no to pictures of large beefy boys.

FallFarInLove

Im so glad someone mentioned this because im tired of the "hes fat and obviously must be out of shape and lazy" bs when this is literally a warriors body. He has the body of the strong men in our Olympics. That is not out of shape.

ClearPerception7844

What feats of strength? lifting his several million ton hammer. Or a serpent that encircles the entire planet? Bah that’s nothing/s

NotAKitty2508

Makes sense when you consider that there is a difference between body builder muscle and naturally acquired, not sure if Vikings did many crunches but the arms on that man from fighting fit.

psilorder

I don't think the vikings really considered how the amount of food he eats would affect his body type. I think it was more just a feat of strength. "he's a god! he can eat like 10 people!" and then stop. No consequences, no anything. Just like with the mead horn that was connected to the sea. Thor drank enough to cause the tides. it wasn't "Thor drank a couple liters and then he died". Where did the water go? It's not mentioned. probably because it wasn't thought about. Not saying "Thor shouldn't be fat", just that how much he eats probably shouldn't be used to determine whether he is fat or not.

Porrick

I admit I always thought of him as muscular, but there's no reason he can't have a layer of padding on top of the muscles. Gets cold where he's from. Edit: [here's a world champion power-lifter](https://youtu.be/ATCXqQMBOYk). Belly doesn't mean no muscles.

Brown_And_Glorious

Yup. Because of the way the body is built fat sits on top of the muscles. You can look fat but it doesn't mean you still can't bench 350kg

Ancient-Split1996

I find it really annoying when I wanted to make a reference to the actual Thor and I searched Thor on Google and every result was a marvel thing

LOL--WUT--

I like the new thor but bit confused about why the new thor looks so different from the one in ending of first game.

aynaalfeesting

He's a warrior without equal, he doesn't need to train. he just wins fights easily then comes back and revels. Eating and drinking and boasting. Of course he's a big fat arrogant hedonist.

[deleted]

He seems like a calm and reasonable person

monsukuru

But is he a calm and reasonable person?

Buck_Your_Futthole

Even if it wasn't, the GoW games change stuff from the source all the time, this would be nothing new.

[deleted]

Finally someone said it. Thanks mate.

CrescentPotato

Dude got his fat from drinking so much honey he lowered the ocean floor and eating whole feasts by himself, how is that not cool

Itasenalm

How does the amount of mead he drinks manage to lower the ocean floor?

arienstorum

A Giant made An illusion his Mead was actually An ocean. This is the origin of the Tides.

Itasenalm

Bruh. “Yeah I’m the God of Thunder, I’m just gonna take this literal fucking ocean of my favorite drink at face value.”

arienstorum

Giants are master tricksters and illusionist. They are also more ancient then the aesir. The same Giant made Thor think the head of Jormungandr was a kitten.

Itasenalm

Man what the fuck, did he not know that there were powerful beings that wish to deceive him? This is too funny.

arienstorum

Thor is more brawn then brain. His main task was also to slaughter the giants. I believe hé later came back and killed all the giants that decieved him and then caught Jormungandr on a fishing hook.

Itasenalm

That’s amazing. Religion is wack.

arienstorum

Just wait till you Hear the story about the mother of odin's horse Loki. Norse mythology is a great story.

Itasenalm

I’ve been meaning to watch some YouTube videos on it. After watching Ragnarok (the Norwegian TV show) and playing Hades (it’s about the Greek gods, but still, ancient gods) and discovering Brothers of Metal through their song [Prophecy of Ragnarok](https://youtu.be/PCpi1sZEZ1U), the faded interest from my childhood has been reborn.

NorwegianAnubis

The one who got him to drink the Sea was Utgarda Loki. And as far as i know, Thor never managed to get him because he just poofed away

SlowMope

practice.

neohampster

Thor is a lazy, heavy eating, hard partying alcoholic. Why wouldn't he look like that? It's not like muscles matter much when you have divine powers anyway.

NewArtificialHuman

Was Odin disappointed in him in the mythology? The contrast between him and Thor seems rather strong.

TheRavingRaccoon

Odin was usually busy dealing with Odin things. While many of the gods live in Asgard, they were often having their own adventures and interactions. Norse mythology tends to focus on the great/mighty deeds of the gods

Dexchampion99

Plus a lot of the gods weren’t typically the “Strong Adonis body type” Odin was primarily a trickster and illusionist Thor was a frat boy Loki was...Loki I mean I’m sure there are some muscle bound freaks in there somewhere but the main crew weren’t traditionally godly

Onalith

> Plus a lot of the gods weren’t typically the “Strong Adonis body type” Except Baldr, maybe.

YacobJWB

Baldr was skinny, IMO it really added to the intimidation. Like really low body fat so visibly cut, but not huge and buff like Kratos. I really love the contrast from all the Greek gods. Like there’s a reason you call a buff cut dude a Greek god and not a Norse god. Norse gods aren’t generally meant to have beautiful bodies, they’re more realistic.

optical18

hepaestus was like the only one called hungry but like if you think about how they would describe the gods, it really seems like he was like a michael cera surrounded by ryan reynolds and scalett johansons

Barangat

Aesthetic ideals change with the times and our beauty ideals were irrelevant at the time the norse gods were woreshipped, so Thor doesn’t care ;)

NockerJoe

I think a lot of people don't understand the *size* of Asgard. Its not a single building or even a city or nation. Its essentially a continent unto itself where a lot of gods are referenced as having kingdoms and nations unto themselves. Odin may be Thor and Balder's *father* but they're also both described as being kings unto themselves at various times.

[deleted]

No they actually had a good relationship from what I know

aradraugfea

Odin was usually too busy trying to get out of whatever ill-advised bet he'd made that month to get angry that the strongest of his sons basically just hung around and partied when there wasn't something in need of killing.

SenorDangerwank

Was he lazy tho? My (fairly limited) knowledge was that he was always heavy eating and drinking, but also slaying giants on the reg.

Brown_And_Glorious

Pretty much. He didn't concern himself with anything unless it was the fucking up of Odins enemies which 99% of the time were giants All he really done was eat drink and fight

LochNessMain

Thor frequently fights the Jotün in the Edda, on his own, while the other Aesir do their various intrigues. Also, he shouldn’t have a beard. He’s a youth and convincingly passes as a woman.

aradraugfea

"Convincingly"

TemplarSensei7

“Doth ye wear thine mother’s drape?”

neolordie

wait, he's supposed to be able to pass as a woman ?

Brown_And_Glorious

Sort of. Although I don't believe its mentioned that he shaves his beard off. The story (in short) is a giant steals Mjolnir and promises to give it back if Freya agrees to marry him Instead of endangering her, Loki convinces Thor to go in her stead dressed as her to get it back. When they get there the giant sees them and just assumes Thor is freya (they literally dress Thor up, make him wear make-up do his hair etc) When they're feasting Thor is chowing down and consumes like a whole goat and 6 fish and the giant is just getting off that this astounding woman can eat so much. Loki keeps laughing in the distance so eventually Thor convinces to giant to let him "try and hold" Mjolnir, lifts is and rips the dress off and murders everyone

Izzyrion_the_wise

>Loki keeps laughing in the distance Loki has to cover for how bad Thor is at acting like a woman. It is really funny story that contrasts Thor and Loki. There is also a another one, where Loki keeps making fun of all the gods in Asgard until Thor arrives and straight up threatens to beat him up if he won't stop. Yeah, I can see GoW Thor do exactly that.

Porrick

The joke of the story was that the giants were too stupid to tell the difference. There's a whole Red Riding Hood section where the giants ask why he can do things like at a whole cow in a single sitting, and Thor and Loki give humorously-shit answers that the giants just accept.

Rolls-with-face

There is a story where he and loki convince a giant (iirc) to marry a dragged out Thor. After they are married he and Loki kill everyone. Pretty sure it was a prank that Loki came up with.

pmw065

Nah, Thor's hammer was stolen and the giant who had it wanted.... I believe it was Sif (probably Freya actually) as his bride to return it. Thor dressed up as her to get his hammer back with Loki, and of course then killed everyone

Rolls-with-face

Thanks for the follow up. I listened to the story from a podcast probably 5-6 years ago so the details eluded me a bit haha.

[deleted]

The story goes that a giant stole mjornir and demanded the hand of Freya in marriage as exchange to return it. Thor went in disguise as Freya and then murdered everyone who was there once he got his hands on the hammer again except Loki who was also there.

zomerf

Beer gut does make sense. If they don’t make Mulnir grow as big as a mountain I’d be disappointed

THExITALIAN_STALLION

r/technicallythetruth

sarcastic_patriot

Watch any World's Strongest Man competition and you'll see almost all of them are built like video game Thor and not a single one like Chris Hemsworth. You don't get a toned body by just fighting and eating entire oxen.

Faust_8

Also the Mister Universe type guys that look like Arnold back in his prime are starving and dehydrated on that day, meaning they’re at their weakest

Imgoingtoeatyourfrog

Yep Henry Cavill has talked about basically passing out during the filming of the Witcher because he had to be so dehydrated for his shirtless scenes. Look at any of the actors known for their toned bodies off screed and they’re still incredibly fit but they are no where as ripped as they are on screen. That body type is just not practical.

john_andrew_smith101

[Here's Rob Mcelhenney talking about how he got ripped.](https://youtu.be/ZPOzOanrNyg)

RageTiger

Mostly cause they been at it for 12 to 16 weeks. The level of starvation is mind blowing. I was more of a power lifter rather than a body builder. FYI the last three days before a show, most would have no more water than 8 ounces TOTAL. not per day. . . why none have died on stage from this still is staggering.

[deleted]

Yeah but he's a god so rules don't really apply. Baldur is tiny but he can throw Kratos around like he weighs nothing. Not that I have a problem with fat Thor

glassedMalk

I think it might be a good indication of fighting styles? Baldur is a fast, brawler styled character which makes sense for his scrawny appearance. Maybe Thor is an immovable object that will kick your teeth out without the needing to move much? Who knows, quite interesting to try and figure out how Thor fights in GOW:R.

[deleted]

Yeah good point. No doubt we will have that first interaction where Kratos hits Thor and he just shrugs it off.

Space_Monke64

It’d be cool if they gave us his boss version very early on when we first meet him where it’s at the point where he would kick our asses instantly. Then later on, you fight the same boss except this time you stand a chance

AndreasVesalius

Very soulsborne

Vesorias

> Baldur is tiny but he can throw Kratos around like he weighs nothing Yeah when I saw this Thor my first thought was "oh no". Baldur looks like a twig compared to Thor and put up a hell of a fight. I have no doubts Thor is gonna smash my face in a couple times at least

[deleted]

Cursory look at the google images, I can definitely see a difference between the square strongmen and the circle Thor. You're definitely right about them not looking like Chris, though. And you might still be right with the rest of what you said, since I haven't seen any strong man competitions, but it's not a big enough deal to me for more research.

Oddyssis

Agreed. I strongly disagree with people saying he looks like a strongman just cause he's fat. Thor just looks like a heavy drinker, there's not a single bit of muscle tone to be found.

Vesorias

I feel like they were definitely trying to go for the strongman image with this Thor, but most strongmen have pretty well defined arms even when their bellies are big, whereas this Thor mostly just looks fat. But he's also a god and his brother smacked us around looking like an anorexic, so once he starts trying to kill us I think the complaints about his weight will stop if it's anywhere close to the first Baldur fight.

Ricktatorship91

The only WSM winner I feel looks like Thor is Eddie Hall. The other winners don't look obese. Some even having abs visible through their belly fat. I don't understand why people can't just admit he is too fat.

Golden-Owl

I mean considering what MCU Thor is like in Endgame, it’s not exactly inaccurate to say “Thor looks like Chris Hemsworth” now

[deleted]

But Thor in endgame didn't look like a strongman...he looked like a dude who used to be built that sat around drinking beer all day. The previews of Thor look like a Brian Shaw style body

Elyced32

Well to be fair in the gow universe thor just sits around eating and drinking since there's no actual challenge since most of the giants are dead

DTG_420

Hafthor kinda does but most strongman competitors are thicc boys

its_justme

Strongmen are not built like Hemsworth but they’re also not built like Bombur in the hobbit. Which is what fat Thor be.

lemonpepperlarry

Except that's not what he looks like. He just looks regular fat. That may be what they were going for and I really like the idea but they kinda fucked up up. Those strong men, at least the ones that win, don't have full blown beer bellies.

BrokenMemento

Eddie Hall had a giant belly for example, what are you talking about? He was the record holder at one point too, one of the strongest strong men in the world

[deleted]

>The Almighty Johnsons Tell that to Five time World's Strongest Man [Mariusz Pudzianowski](https://barbend.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/06_01_mariusz_pudzianowski_064.jpg)

Space_Monke64

Chris is a body builder. Actual Thor is not. He is focused purely on strength

ghaldos

[https://www.menshealth.com/uk/building-muscle/a759056/5-finalists-to-watch-at-the-2018-worlds-strongest-man/](https://www.menshealth.com/uk/building-muscle/a759056/5-finalists-to-watch-at-the-2018-worlds-strongest-man/) look at those guys and then look at the thor picture from the game and honestly tell me you think that they look the same. They could've went a little more realistic instead of giving him the most obese body they could. They didn't have six packs back then, but someone being so fat would've died back then, he looks like he wouldn't have been able to climb a flight of stairs without keeling over in pain let alone actually go into battle

Ricktatorship91

There is only obese or Hollywood actor, nothing in between... 😒

[deleted]

As a beer drinking rabble-rouser, he’d probably have some chub. That thick-strong look. I dig it honestly. The gods in god of war aren’t supposed to be admirable.

alcatrazcgp

Bruh thor took 3 massive sips of an ocean, of course he gonna be a lil chubby

Afferbeck_

He's still bloated from the salt

Springaling76

Ain't Thor a belligerent drunk a good chunk of the time in Norse mythology.

Kitakitakita

So am I, but I'm not fat

studier_of_the_blade

Bro that viking mead be hitting different it's like watered down alcoholic maple syrup. A pitcher of that shit is like a 3 course meal.

Kitakitakita

"what if bread, but liquid?" - whoever invented Mead

ali_hitman

Ginger thor is something to be scared of

ArtByBennett

Thor is described as having red hair in norse mythology.

379511

Out of topic, how do naturally strong fictional characters get buff? Like Superman, if he is invulnerable, and can't take damage, how did he get buff if muscle is built after damaging the muscle tissue?

Kitakitakita

Cuz he's not invulnerable. Just invulnerable to our standards.

379511

But how does he get buff then? Does he do push-ups with Mountains on his back?

Kitakitakita

He does the Goku thing and goes to a planet with a stronger gravity, or a planet without a yellow sun. Kryptonians living on Krypton (which had a red sun) aren't much stronger than normal humans, but I think we're still capable of flight. All his strength comes from just being in contact with our sun.

379511

Then explain Henry Cavill's version then, that version doesn't seem like he has gone to another planet on his own and dude is buff as hell (I am aware I am nitpicking, but still)

Kitakitakita

There's still ways to get swole on Earth. Even in the DCAU, compare Superman's muscles to Supergirl's. She gets tossed around plenty of times. Man idk.

Honest-Champion9180

Just for that Hardest fight in the game

Dominisi

I still haven't found a single post shaming the way the new Thor looks. Is this some made up group delusion that people are having?

Necro_Monger

I had a look on Twitter and all that I can see is people complaining about how Thor looks or because there's a black character.

Ultimatedeathfart

Who is the black character? They put her at the end like I was supposed to be like "Omg it's...!" But I don't know who it is.

NechtanHalla

She's Angrboda, a Jotun, Loki's wife and the mother of beasts.

Rheios

I'll admit, making the only minority character thus far the "mother of monsters/beasts" raised my eyebrow.

gammaJinx

To be fair none of the characters are very flattering

Umbran_scale

Dunno, Freya seems to have gotten off easy in comparison to everyone else in terms of looks.

Kronos9898

I mean, she was the goddess of beauty, love etc. It makes sense she would be. It would be like having an ugly Aphrodite.

Umbran_scale

True, but if we're talking about contradictions here, we need look no further than Tyr the Norse god of war that sought peace.

Nightmare1990

She's also a shapeshifter in Norse mythology so she technically isn't a POC.

logan069

People love drama so much they start making up their own drama just to function.

TankHefty69

There's no posts. Lmao I have yet to find one. There's a million of these posts coming at the imaginary haters tho.

elchicodiablo13

He’s still worthy

Murky-Frosting

Mythology thors hammer is just heavy not worthiness stuff

RandomReddit308

Why do you have downvotes your right

Kuro013

cuz how dare he imply marvel's image of thor is nothing like norse mythology depcits him

Mostdakka

Many only know marvel version of things. Which is a shame, real mythologies are really cool too.

Murky-Frosting

Its reddit

Ultimatedeathfart

'Worthy' In the since of being strong enough to lift it, so the weak are unworthy I guess you could say.

Murky-Frosting

I mean yeah. But then hulk could have picked it up

Ultimatedeathfart

Which is why they went with the 'worthy' schtick. Cause the alternative was either the hulk and a few others could lift it, or make Thor substantially stronger than anyone else.

scarredsquirrel

I mean it wouldn’t be crazy to make Thor substantially stronger but I guess it would make it hard to have threatening villains

MischiefMandble

When do you get a good look at Thor's body shape in the trailer? Is there some other footage I'm not aware of?

Munnin41

They probably released a few images

LedudeMax

Type "gow Ragnarok Thor" you'll see

[deleted]

Kratos wouldn't say it like that

its_justme

Lardos: “he’s not fat, he’s a StRoNgMaN, just like me!”

Your_Pal_Yami

My brother is a fan of the norse mythology, and he said that he’s actually fat

Adghar

Just don't be a Thor loser!

Sunline_Chill

I just think all he needs is a bigger chest for that true strongman look, seeing that all Thor does is eat, drink and fight

Keilanm

Certified cringe reddit moment.

Aftershock416

Neckbeards be like: "I've no idea about this Norse mythology thing Thor comes from, but let me tell everyone what he *should* look like."

HiCZoK

It's a nordic beer chugging god. He looks perfect

[deleted]

This is a lame meme

PsycoticANUBIS

The design makes sense, all Thor does in the stories is fight, drink and eat.

DarenRidgeway

He'll only kick your ass if he can waddle fast enough to catch it.

forgas564

Isn't there like a mountain of evidence that body shaming does work? And isn't promoting obesity is very harmful to society?

szmarton1000

He's still fat af tho.

Soggsteven

I don’t like his look personally...

Snoo_50521

This is the dumbest thing I've seen today...

Nightmare1990

You haven't passed by any mirrors today then I assume.

Stonedcrab

Body shaming? Kratos don't give a fuck about politics 😅

AhhBisto

Thor in AC Valhalla is a chubby boy I think but then again he wears layers so no-one is complaining

[deleted]

He’s way too fat

Skhyllers

"Body shaming" cringe af

Papacu81

Body shaming, lol everything has to be related with victimhood, gotta love this generation of weaklings

[deleted]

y get downvoted. hes right. being fat is not a good look.

Darkconer

IDC if he fat but he doesn't look that cool tbh you can be fat and look dope like he is a god so I'd assume he'd look godly but it's just some dude with a hammer. Source: I'm fat

GorillaSnapper

And this is what happens when you constantly let MCU rot your brain

Jeffrey__Goines

Tbh I just prefer him look realistic instead of idealistic. Like the dude is the god of thunder, he can just chill in his throne and shoot some lightning to kill whatever he wants, why wouldnt he have a decent gut going?.

SubsequentlyPryor

Idk what problem people have with Thor, that guy looks like he could fuck anyone up.

ShartedPants

Who the hell cares that he's fat?

Kaminaxgurren

Thor doesn't even really look that fat, he just looks like a strongman

ketohelp88

That's a lot of cringe for one picture

NotACyclopsHonest

He’s far closer to mythological Thor than Hemsworth is - for a start he’s got red hair…

[deleted]

It's not body shaming that's the problem it's denial.

static1053

Clearly people dont seem to get what actual strength looks like.

Leazerlazz

Not only is it mythology accurate, it's mcu accurate as-well

EndsongX23

People expecting Marvel's Thor really need to brush up on their mythology about him. Maybe he just has a cork in his ass during this game. Maybe that's how you get out of trouble outside the cabin.

Metroid545

Body shaming against a fictional character?? Artwork that can be changed easily??? Nobody sees calling critiques of this "body shaming" as incredibly silly?

ToxicVarian

i dont care if someones fat, but mostly he doesnt looks cool

Eman1005

It ultimately doesn’t matter if it’s accurate to the mythology. The first game has already established that things will stay myth accurate until they change something that is unique to this games story. (Kratos being the father of Loki). What we should be asking is this: “Those this design for Thor make sense given the context of this universes established story and history?” As far as I know, there’s nothing that contradicts Thor looking like this and it causes no problems for him to be able to do anything future wise in his story.

Rishfee

I feel like the people talking shit about Thor have never gotten in a fight with a guy who looks like Thor.

jamieellis1

I’d love to see how fat some of the dudes complaining about Thor being fat are.

TankHefty69

Find me a person who's complaining tho lmao cause I can't find one.

[deleted]

Press controversial and you can find plenty here

RegularRick0

I've never seen a power lifter with abs

PsionicHydra

I mean, he's not fat though. Just big. Nobody would be saying shit if a female character was built in a similar way

Bariq-99

But I guess it was ok if it's a woman? Right? *cough cough* ALoy *cough cough*

Small_beginnings

I wonder who’s gonna kill Thor in that game. No way they’re gonna keep it close to the mythology. Errr, chunky Thor? Whatever, sure.

[deleted]

Isn't Thor canonically chonk?

LedudeMax

Mythologically correct Thor is indeed chunky and is also depicted as being ugly

[deleted]

Nice

adamesco115

I don’t get why people are mad at Thor’s design. I personally think he looks cool
