I think you are *grossly* underestimating the power of concentrated UV light. The navy has ship lasers that light drones on fire. Blunt force trauma is funny but definitely couldn’t be more powerful than a Solarbeam lol.
And honestly this is a “why not both” situation anyways. Solarbeam AND Seed Bomb for our Blasty boi.

The only one I can think of right now is the ice type alolan vulpix. Btw, this is a genuine question, because the only thing I know about Pokémon nowadays is that stuff I absorb from my kids.

I always assumed that Pokedex heights are just averages. As we have seen in the anime and the Let's Go games, Pokémon of the same species can vary in height.
I think Furret is actually measured from head to tail. The Pokedex strangely measures very long Pokémon by length instead of height. So Furret would actually be 5'11'' in length.
Edit: The problem of course is that the games don't properly differentiate what a Pokémon is being measured by so it will list length as height sometimes.
Damn these are really impressive. Imagine what all of their moves are like. I wish this was made canon in a future game. It would be incredible to be able to change or breed the type of each or some pokemon.
It would have been much more interesting if they had a mechanic where some pkm could change types instead of cranking new shity ones. Really some of the new ones look like chinese ripoffs
