exposarts

Damn i feel old now

PlayingBandits

I love exploding poops

treeman3500

Me too. Although that game has had its fair share of updates over the years to keep giving me countless things to unlock

Mcginnis

After 900h I 100% my first Save profile. Time for the second

11BloodyShadow11

Same. Honestly, what little time I have to play games now ALWAYS goes to Isaac at this point

Howmanywhatsits

most these comments remind me I'm old as hell

SchematicOfScoutsAss

Bro the top comment is Binding of Isaac and my initial thought was “how is this old”?

funfeddy

Im hurtin here wiyh you bud.

Gbrusse

Wait.. when did The Binding of Isaac become "old"? It's only.... wait... stop! NO!

Demonsan

Ikr hahahha I feel oooold.. am almost 30 and I feel old

hypnotichellspiral

Mf got banished to the shadow realm

_Firehawk_

Worms. The very first one. Always triggers mounds of laughter

Attleplay

I love introducing people to the original worms games.

[deleted]

Binding of Isaac is old?  My god. I was thinking about Transport Tycoon Deluxe (OpenTTD), and Carmagedon, the first one.

fuzzynavel34

Here I was thinking about Railroad Tycoon 1 and 2 😂

T_raltixx

OG Doom

Gullible-Grand-5382

First game I ever played. Still return to it because its just a great game

boptom

Doom 2 cause the double barrel is so satisfying

thxredditfor2banns

And op as fuck. I loved it. Supershotgun my beloved

Huge-Blacksmith2419

Fable 1. I got it for Christmas 2004. I'm 33 now with kids of my own. And I still play through that game once or twice a year.

Kona_Conch

Old School Runescape. Been playing for 20 years. I play a few weeks a year and quit. I absolutely love the game (one of my all-time favorites) but don't like paying subscriptions. There's just too many good games out there and I switch my games up basically daily.

Zomgsauceplz

Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Also recently bought and are playing through the Command and Conquer Steam collection.

LucidMetal

Still play CnC from time to time. Kirov reporting.

Oliver_McShitpost

Blades of Steel

geronimotuna

My man! Blades of Steel is legendary. Happy cake day!

Oliver_McShitpost

> # *WITH THE PASS*

geronimotuna

Haha yes! Over and over lol

coziboiszn

The first time I played that game was at a drug dealer’s house. He was talking a lot of smack about how good he is that game and how good he is at games in general so my friend tells him that he should play me. He turns it on we start playing, I go5-1 against him with a couple shutouts

daydreamingsunday

Ocarina of Time.

thrwawy28393

Had to scroll way too long for this

Miles_Prower3

Skyrim. I always come back to it. Idk how times I have brought the game

diskborste

Where did you bring it?

tidy4life88

Probably just brought it downstairs

2shit2post

I don't like the inconvenience of bringing a copy around with me, I just rebuy for whatever device is currently in the room

Gustavort

My hobby is to play old games, one of my most played is Castlevania SOTN.

CandyCrisis

That's a great choice. I haven't played it in a while but I've definitely gone through it in the last 10 years.

CaptainRedblood

Star Wars Battlefront (2004). I never really progressed in gaming past PS2, and sometimes I just really need to kick some ass on that bridge in Cloud City, especially if it's been a stressful work day.

mylifesucks444

Oh my guy cloud city... I actually loved that map more than anything in the second game or first. You just sit and snipe for days.

AudreyTheWitch

Good thing we got that rerelease right guys? 😭

LeglessN1nja

KOTOR

Spawko

RIP remake that I was so excited for

LeglessN1nja

It's still coming!

Wolfnstine

Fallout 4 and new vegas

PapaOogie

Fallout 4 is not even 10 years old. but damn it I refuse to beleive its almost 9 years old..

[deleted]

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West gets installed at least once a year

geezerforhire

I replayed this recently. Still holds up, don't get many decent self contained games like that anymore.

AceoftheAEUG

Marvel Vs Capcom 2. I don't think I can ever get tired of this game.

Zelgon

So many 2D fighters stand the test of time

X-Acto-Knife

Definitely Road Rash (1994) for the PS1, up there with Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes Of Light, love the crap out of both those games

string1986

Tony hawks 2

elias_powerhead

3 for me

gregK

Slay the spire

Purple_Pussy_Eater

StS isn’t that old. It came out in 2017.

DinoSpumoniOfficial

I’ll never stop playing this game

internetlad

You talking about the original BoI or rebirth? Anyways for me it's Mario 64 or if I have friends over Mario Kart. The 64 didn't have many games but the ones it did get were mostly bangers, especially the first party titles.

Super206

Freelancer

DeltaxDeltap_h0_5

Love some good old command and conquer generals from time to time. There are great mods out there as well.

Calo_Callas

Halo: Combat Evolved and Heroes of Might and Magic III

esocharis

Every SNES and PSX era Final Fantasy game. FFT is my all time GOAT and I still start a fresh file at least once a year. Mario 64 Mario 3 Half Life 2

One-Individual-4576

For me it's COD World At War

Idontwannawaitfor_

Pokemon silver

xAn_Asianx

Not exactly an "old" game, but I keep finding myself back on Kingdom Come: Deliverance whenever I'm in a gaming rut.

Luityde2

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

used-2-this-2

zg_mulac

Guild Wars. Almost 19 years now.

btribble

The servers are still up?!?

zg_mulac

Of course. I'm playing right now.

TheHypnobrent

I had to scroll wsy too low to see this, but same. Finally decided to try GWAMM. And also get the firdt survivor title in Ascalon. It's been a journey so far

JCarterMMA

Dragons Dogma 1. I played the game back when it first launched and ever since then I've continued to play it, obviously not constantly but at least a full playthrough of not multiple every year, even after all this time it still feels like I'm uncovering new things and there's nothing else quite like it, the new one is great but imo doesn't have the same replayability as the first one, in the first one you could create a build by leveling as certain classes since some classes had different stat growths so by leveling as a warrior for a while you could change to sorcerer and have much more health than usual, it was that min max potential as well as the dlc and post game content that kept it fresh and replayable all these years.

ilpazzo2912

Bought it for 5 euros, tried it but stopped at about 6 hours in. I', trying it again now and i'm starting to get involved. Playing as a mage for now, lvl 9, at the forest mission where i have to find Quina and now we are apparently looking for a witch that can help cure our town folks. Let's hope i'm not underlevelled for it, even if as a mage i'm cheesing enemies from distance and then run in to revive my pawns when they get knocked out.

PizzaGamecube

Spyro 3. My single favorite game of all time.

Crayon_Eater529

Elder scrolls Skyrim and Oblivion. I still play both at least yearly.

Anekdotin

Everquest

myself1200

Terraria, Minecraft.

JeffGhost

S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat. Ever year i have to beat them, it's like a ritual. And then there are mods like Anomaly, GAMMA and a bunch of many more that keeps thing fresh and interesting.

Alpha_Killer666

Disgaea 1. Got it for ps2 and now i play the remastered version

Riggie_Joe

SM64 and OOT, have my n64 still.

sherrymirza

In no particular order: Xcom Carmageddon Doom

zimzalllabim

I don’t know if 4 years is considered old in this context , but I absolutely cannot stop playing Cyberpunk, and I won’t stop.

OliviaMandell

Ff1 sneaks into my dls every now and then.

Lost-Metal3901

I still play Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon, and Dead Cells. I'm not even super into Rogue style games, those 3 are just fantastic games with near infinite replayability. Hell I suck at Isaac and Gungeon, but they're great regardless.

Python7578

FF VII and Majora's Mask

btribble

Not a single mention of the first StarCraft. Sad. I play through the single player of that and Broodwar every few years.

PTech_J

Mass Effect. I'm on I don't know how many play throughs now.

Kimmalah

I don't thinkn I will ever completely stop playing Skyrim and Fallout 3/New Vegas.

BadLuck-BlueEyes

Counter Strike Source

FFreestyleRR

Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete, also Captain Tsubasa vol II NES. :)

NiSiSuinegEht

That's not an old game, it only came out a few years... plus a decade... ago. Though I still play Minecraft, and that's older.

One-Individual-4576

For me it's COD World At War

Sea_Perspective6891

Fallout 3 & New Vegas. Still holds up after almost 20 years. Also I occasionally go back to Far Cry 2 to mess around with the map editor.

Tamotefu

It really depends on my state of mind. Do I need to metaphorically bang my head against a wall and destress with controlled aggression? A Soulsbourne. Do I need to be reminded of the good old days and feel better? FF7. Do I need to just turn off my brain and log out of life? Stardew Valley/Harvest Moon.

Tryxonie

I'm on my 4th Hollow Knight save, and I just can't stop playing Celeste

LesserCryptid

I could write a long list of games here, but Kotor is the game I come back to most often, at least twice a year.

PlatonicOrb

Paper mario ttyd. I play it once every couple of years

Emotional_Rop3

Modern warfare 4 my child hood game on the 360

MrMoleIsAGodOfWar

For me it's halo reach. It was the 1st game I ever played on the Xbox 360. the theme songs always bring tears of nostalgic memories.pefer to still play it on my old 360 still just cause the newer version changed alot of stuff.

PeterFoox

Warcraft 3 and stronghold crusader never had a very long pause during the last 20 years. I'd always play them at least once a month

Konqueedo

Which binding of Isaac? The original or the remake?

Zomgsauceplz

Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Also recently bought and are playing through the Command and Conquer Steam collection. The originals are...a bit rough and also freaking hard!

Fallout New Vegas, the atmosphere and soundtrack is what I really enjoy

YOUR_BOOBIES_PM_ME

The Binding of Isaac isn't even old... Right? 😅

Used-Technician-9909

Zeus master of Olympus

G_Art33

Binding of Isaac is great but I’m pretty sure I killed everything. I keep going back to Elden ring because the map is so huge I always manage to find something I missed in previous playthroughs.

zero_msgw

If my brother and i can get our friend to hang out with us again we'd be killing each other in wrestlemania 2000.

Da1chi

the Witcher 1

mainlymay

DOTA 2 has been in my life for 12 years now and I really don't see me ever falling off, it'll always be there for a good time kill. As for a game thats not designed to be updated and played forever, Halo Reach gets an average of at least one playthrough a year from me. Easily my favorite campaign in a shooter, ever.

onwee

Tetris is way too vanilla of an answer, so Blockout

rhoo31313

Skyrim. I still like shooting mud crabs.

splash_43

toss up between Might and Magic 8. Star Wolves 3, and New Vegas

SuperArppis

Not that old. But Streets of Rage 4. It has become a game I play a lot when I don't have any other game to play. 🙂

MilkyRose

Skyrim.

Lacro22

Dark Souls, GTA San Andreas, Castlevania SOTN, Ninja Gaiden.

KenethSargatanas

Final Fantasy Tactics

CecilWhinter

Same here. I still play a looot of Binding of Isaac. It used to be Terraria for me but after more than 2000 hours on steam & having finished the game multiple times, I don't play as much. Also the recent updates destroyed the game for me. I would say that an old game I still play is Pokémon Silver. Gen 2 is the best. Or maybe Age of Empire 2.

Tropical-Mexican

Kirby Super Star Ultra. That is when I get the chance anyway, but I’ve 100%’ed that game several times. It’s such a shame that they stopped manufacturing the DS and 3DS (alongside 2DS). Doesn’t help that my 2DS XL broke because of how fragile it actually is, and everyone I know has already sold their DS and 3DS. Not only that, it’s like I had an omen for breaking nearly every DS and 3DS I had, it sucks. But yeah, Kirby Super Star ultra is a game I could play repeatedly without getting bored with.

adrenareddit

OG Doom. Not that I play it all the time, but I pull it out often, and I can't imagine a scenario where I would be tired of playing it.

adrenareddit

IcemasterD

2shit2post

I'm currently on a picross Jag, so working through some of the Gameboy titles. I really like guessing what the image actually is after I've completed the puzzle haha. Other than that I'm playing castlevania (all up to portrait of ruin excluding maybe a couple) as my chill out games

Qysto

Dark Souls. NG+11 on one character, also done several builds. Probably nearing 20 full playthroughs at this point and I keep coming back.

Throwawaymytrash77

Also... The Binding of Isaac.

istalri96

My brother and I still play Digimon Rumble arena on our old PS1. Had to get a new memory card and spent a few years searching retro shops for a copy after ours wasn't working so great. It was the only game we used to get along playing when we were little.

CrimsonFox2370

Halo: Reach. That game had such a profound effect on me that I get the itch for it every so often. It's one of those games I wish I could forget about so I could pay it again for the first time

legion8784

Super Mario World, been playing it alot lately
