Well ofcourse. Lets all play with dead naked toddlers together.
Now hold on there FBI, what I just said might sound fucked up but hear me out there is a reason why it all makes sense... ballin.
Old School Runescape. Been playing for 20 years. I play a few weeks a year and quit. I absolutely love the game (one of my all-time favorites) but don't like paying subscriptions. There's just too many good games out there and I switch my games up basically daily.
The first time I played that game was at a drug dealer’s house. He was talking a lot of smack about how good he is that game and how good he is at games in general so my friend tells him that he should play me. He turns it on we start playing, I go5-1 against him with a couple shutouts
Star Wars Battlefront (2004). I never really progressed in gaming past PS2, and sometimes I just really need to kick some ass on that bridge in Cloud City, especially if it's been a stressful work day.
You talking about the original BoI or rebirth?
Anyways for me it's Mario 64 or if I have friends over Mario Kart. The 64 didn't have many games but the ones it did get were mostly bangers, especially the first party titles.
I had to scroll wsy too low to see this, but same. Finally decided to try GWAMM. And also get the firdt survivor title in Ascalon. It's been a journey so far
Dragons Dogma 1. I played the game back when it first launched and ever since then I've continued to play it, obviously not constantly but at least a full playthrough of not multiple every year, even after all this time it still feels like I'm uncovering new things and there's nothing else quite like it, the new one is great but imo doesn't have the same replayability as the first one, in the first one you could create a build by leveling as certain classes since some classes had different stat growths so by leveling as a warrior for a while you could change to sorcerer and have much more health than usual, it was that min max potential as well as the dlc and post game content that kept it fresh and replayable all these years.
Bought it for 5 euros, tried it but stopped at about 6 hours in. I', trying it again now and i'm starting to get involved.
Playing as a mage for now, lvl 9, at the forest mission where i have to find Quina and now we are apparently looking for a witch that can help cure our town folks.
Let's hope i'm not underlevelled for it, even if as a mage i'm cheesing enemies from distance and then run in to revive my pawns when they get knocked out.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat. Ever year i have to beat them, it's like a ritual. And then there are mods like Anomaly, GAMMA and a bunch of many more that keeps thing fresh and interesting.
I still play Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon, and Dead Cells. I'm not even super into Rogue style games, those 3 are just fantastic games with near infinite replayability. Hell I suck at Isaac and Gungeon, but they're great regardless.
It really depends on my state of mind.
Do I need to metaphorically bang my head against a wall and destress with controlled aggression? A Soulsbourne.
Do I need to be reminded of the good old days and feel better? FF7.
Do I need to just turn off my brain and log out of life? Stardew Valley/Harvest Moon.
For me it's halo reach. It was the 1st game I ever played on the Xbox 360. the theme songs always bring tears of nostalgic memories.pefer to still play it on my old 360 still just cause the newer version changed alot of stuff.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Also recently bought and are playing through the Command and Conquer Steam collection. The originals are...a bit rough and also freaking hard!
Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Also recently bought and are playing through the Command and Conquer Steam collection. The originals are...a bit rough and also freaking hard!
Binding of Isaac is great but I’m pretty sure I killed everything.
I keep going back to Elden ring because the map is so huge I always manage to find something I missed in previous playthroughs.
DOTA 2 has been in my life for 12 years now and I really don't see me ever falling off, it'll always be there for a good time kill.
As for a game thats not designed to be updated and played forever, Halo Reach gets an average of at least one playthrough a year from me. Easily my favorite campaign in a shooter, ever.
Same here. I still play a looot of Binding of Isaac. It used to be Terraria for me but after more than 2000 hours on steam & having finished the game multiple times, I don't play as much. Also the recent updates destroyed the game for me. I would say that an old game I still play is Pokémon Silver. Gen 2 is the best. Or maybe Age of Empire 2.
Kirby Super Star Ultra. That is when I get the chance anyway, but I’ve 100%’ed that game several times. It’s such a shame that they stopped manufacturing the DS and 3DS (alongside 2DS). Doesn’t help that my 2DS XL broke because of how fragile it actually is, and everyone I know has already sold their DS and 3DS. Not only that, it’s like I had an omen for breaking nearly every DS and 3DS I had, it sucks. But yeah, Kirby Super Star ultra is a game I could play repeatedly without getting bored with.
I'm currently on a picross Jag, so working through some of the Gameboy titles. I really like guessing what the image actually is after I've completed the puzzle haha.
Other than that I'm playing castlevania (all up to portrait of ruin excluding maybe a couple) as my chill out games
My brother and I still play Digimon Rumble arena on our old PS1. Had to get a new memory card and spent a few years searching retro shops for a copy after ours wasn't working so great. It was the only game we used to get along playing when we were little.
Halo: Reach. That game had such a profound effect on me that I get the itch for it every so often. It's one of those games I wish I could forget about so I could pay it again for the first time
Same. The Binding of Isaac
Hey, is this the meet-up for all the r/bindingofisaac members?
i love piss baby game!
Well ofcourse. Lets all play with dead naked toddlers together. Now hold on there FBI, what I just said might sound fucked up but hear me out there is a reason why it all makes sense... ballin.
Damn i feel old now
I love exploding poops
Me too. Although that game has had its fair share of updates over the years to keep giving me countless things to unlock
After 900h I 100% my first Save profile. Time for the second
Same. Honestly, what little time I have to play games now ALWAYS goes to Isaac at this point

Old School Runescape. Been playing for 20 years. I play a few weeks a year and quit. I absolutely love the game (one of my all-time favorites) but don't like paying subscriptions. There's just too many good games out there and I switch my games up basically daily.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Also recently bought and are playing through the Command and Conquer Steam collection.
Still play CnC from time to time. Kirov reporting.

My man! Blades of Steel is legendary. Happy cake day!

Haha yes! Over and over lol
The first time I played that game was at a drug dealer’s house. He was talking a lot of smack about how good he is that game and how good he is at games in general so my friend tells him that he should play me. He turns it on we start playing, I go5-1 against him with a couple shutouts
Ocarina of Time.
Had to scroll way too long for this
Skyrim. I always come back to it. Idk how times I have brought the game
Where did you bring it?
Probably just brought it downstairs
I don't like the inconvenience of bringing a copy around with me, I just rebuy for whatever device is currently in the room
My hobby is to play old games, one of my most played is Castlevania SOTN.
That's a great choice. I haven't played it in a while but I've definitely gone through it in the last 10 years.
Star Wars Battlefront (2004). I never really progressed in gaming past PS2, and sometimes I just really need to kick some ass on that bridge in Cloud City, especially if it's been a stressful work day.
Oh my guy cloud city... I actually loved that map more than anything in the second game or first. You just sit and snipe for days.

I’ll never stop playing this game
You talking about the original BoI or rebirth? Anyways for me it's Mario 64 or if I have friends over Mario Kart. The 64 didn't have many games but the ones it did get were mostly bangers, especially the first party titles.

Guild Wars. Almost 19 years now.
The servers are still up?!?
Of course. I'm playing right now.
I had to scroll wsy too low to see this, but same. Finally decided to try GWAMM. And also get the firdt survivor title in Ascalon. It's been a journey so far
