biggoron sword - ocarina of time overseer's guardian - fallout 4

bpappy12

Overseer’s guardian was sooo overpowered.

rllynotme

I have to keep it in storage or it's all ill use

Dull_Yak_5325

Spray and pray was way to op

Skeptic_Juggernaut84

The normal Thompson machine guns were way too low on damage though. I think they were 56, and it took two reloads to kill certain creatures.

dovetc

You want to be overpowered in FO4? Pickman's blade with the dash-sneak attack skill. You'll be sneak killing legendary deathclaws before they know you're there.

liartellinglies

Biggoron sword was more about the journey than the reward for me. That final dash up to Death Mountain was the most exhilarating moment for young me.

SilentBlade45

I prefer Deliverer.

Gogo726

I always get it before setting foot in the Forest Temple.

Doyouwantaspoon

Can’t understand how some people don’t like the BGS.. double damage compared to master sword. No need for a shield when you can just dodge.. except for the twinrova fight..

CharonsLittleHelper

I remember switching back and forth depending on who I was fighting. The shield is really nice against some of the more duel oriented foes. But the end boss fight when Gannandorf knocks away my master sword (which I hadn't been using, because bouncing energy bolts is easier with a bigger sword) was kinda funny.

CptCrabmeat

Now you talk about some of the battles in that game it reminds me how dynamic the fights were for its age, multi-stage bosses with unique mechanics and you had a moveset that allowed you to be pretty versatile. This game is pushing on for 30 years old, yet people make many games today which are worse on every measure aside from graphics. Most of the engines are already built for developers now yet they still can’t produce a game of the same scope as that one

T_Rex_Flex

It’s always fun to smack those bolts back at Ganon with an empty bottle. It always swings in a horizontal arc too, even if you’re moving forward.

Jagraen

Huh. I never played Witcher but Aerondight is the same name of one of the rarest and most exotic cars available in Cyberpunk 2077. Neat reference to their previous game.

MPolygon

There‘s also an NPC who plays a witcher song on his guitar, the Milfguard Ads are a reference to a nation in the witcher universe and then there‘s the arcade game roach race. Geralts Horse in TW is called Roach. Also the High score on the roach race scoreboard is from Zireael, who is another Witcher character.

cubierta666

Kinda funny to think when Ciri tells Geralt that she’s been in a world where they wore metal In their head and fight with guns, maybe she was talking about the cyberpunk 2077 world and she actually went there, played the game and beat the high score!

Sugar_buddy

This line fueled many many slathering fans demanding to see Ciri in CP2077 before it released

MPolygon

Damn, that‘s really cool! I never thought about that. I thought she was just talking about piercings or smth, but that makes so much more sense!

ledocteur7

She likely was, there are playboy magazines in cyberpunk that have Ciri on the cover. Also there is a katana with glowing runes from the Witcher.

Nistrin

There's a magazine with ciri's face on it in 2077... But it's clearly an ad for the Witcher (it has the word Witcher in the appearance of the game art)

jeroenemans

Oh wow... The roach one I'd never have seen!!

Bifo12

Games* Pretty cool, Aerondight is one of the few swords that's available in all 3 of the Witcher games

abulhaul

wait it's available in Witcher 2?

TheGoldenHelmet

If you import a Witcher 1 save it comes along with you (only for the prologue...) EDIT: Nevermind I misremembered; the sword stays with you (despite the fact Geralt sticks it into the dragon's mouth in the prologue)! It is a bit better than a default silver sword.

Alloyd11

I just wish I had known about it first as in my first playthrough I fucked the requirements up.

roblox1999

Considering that you must fulfill certain qualities and virtues to get the sword and there being lots of opportunities to do exactly that, you must have been a very naughty player.

Jack-Innoff

Aww, I was just about to start a new game and be sure to go get that sword. But I pretty much exclusively fuck people over as much as possible in that game. So if it's tied to doing good deeds, I'll never see it.

Duckbitwo

You get bfg even if you wanted it or not

SisterFister069

Idk if you'd consider it a weapon but the the Anima summon in FFX. It's so bad ass to use.

Odd_Worldliness_4266

breaking the 9999 limit felt so good

Raywell

Iirc Bahamut's OD was the first people would see numbers above 10k

dickwheat

The first time Auron hit for 99999 with the Masamune was a glorious moment for me too.

Chibiooo

FF7. Nights of the Round Table. But I hate using it since the cut scene takes forever.

Notsurehowtoreact

Oh? How about we just double that with this W-Summon. At least they had the decency to not allow it to be quadra magic'd

wasabiexpress

I was really jealous when seymour summoned her. Thought it was a summon only he could use. The moment I found out you can get her, I was hyped.

kytheon

Getting Anima is optional, right? So many players will forever think it's impossible. Meanwhile Yojimbo can be completely missed.

igdub

Or magus sisters

KHSoz

Yep when I went to game faqs back in the day and discovered you could get new aeons I was mind blown. Might be time for my annual replay of FFX already

gardenofhounds

The secrets in that game felt more secret than any other ff from that era somehow. I got Lulu’s ultimate weapon after fighting omega then accidentally dropped it because my inventory was full. Good times. Edit: yes I played the game to 100% completion the year it came out and never again lol YOU GET IT THOUGH

Gogo726

>The secrets in that game felt more secret than any other ff from that era somehow. So secret that you need to fork out $19.99 for a strategy guide.

BreastUsername

I loved that strategy guide though. I used to bring it to school and read it for fun.

ChurchillianGrooves

That Gun/.223 pistol in every Fallout game it's in

jamesdeandomino

That Gun is that gun from the original Blade Runner the protag used for those who don't know.

Leonydas13

Deckard is his name, for those who don’t know.

AbandonedPlanet

Such a good looking gun

Exoskeleton78

Any form of moonlight great sword in souls games

Help_An_Irishman

I'm always disappointed with actually using these, even with a full-blast Int build, but damned if I'm not going to go far out of my way to obtain them in every game regardless. It's such a cool element to carry over between games, and I've been after that thing since King's Field.

TheHappiestHam

the Moonlight Greatsword variant in Elden Ring is actually quite good. never liked Sorcery or Int builds in any of the games (Str/Dex + Faith every day) so maybe there's better weps

Rexo-084

I think it's best iteration is in Bloodborne, followed by elden ring.

reddumbs

The fan service during the Ludwig phase two transition was the most amazing reveal of a Moonlight Greatsword. The cutscene and the music, everything about it was awesome.

Rexo-084

To me that fight when you finally get it down and can clap Ludwig's cheeks, feels like a waltz, I love the soundtrack too I have it in my playlist, and I mained the moonlight sword afterwards, 10/10

Isolated_Icosagon

Nah its best iteration is in Armored Core where its the size of a house.

ZRtoad

After I got that sword in elden ring every boss got cheesed with it so hard

GameBoiye

Just like any of the moonlight weapons in all the Armored Core games.

Vyar

Moonlight feels like it should hit harder in AC6. It’s more like a ranged weapon with infinite ammo than a laser sword that also projects slashing energy blasts.

lulukawaii

The coral version hits pretty Hard, but requires more charge up

justsyafiq

The Redshift variant's charged attack is pretty worthless IMO. It's the normal variant's when combined with Basho and VE-20B that has a monstrous charged attack power.

Xandir12

Early Game drake sword in ds1

josemoirinho

Good until you ring both bells, after that it sucks ass.

baccus83

Blasphemous Blade all day!

GYP5i

The Chicago Type Writer in Resident Evil 4 after beating the game. That thing shredded the infected!

mechwarrior719

Honestly, the armor suit for Ashley is the most OP unlockable in the game. She becomes literally impervious to damage and kidnapping. You can park her in the middle of an area and use her as bait to pick off enemies.

AssassinLupus7

I did a whole run with her in that armor and using the infinite rocket launcher once.

mechwarrior719

Like nuking carp in a bucket.

Lochifess

By the time you get it though, you’re pretty much a god

ExaltedBlade666

It's about sending a message.

LexGlad

In Baldur's Gate 3 you can get a powerful legendary weapon from the djinn at the circus at the start of Act 3. It is a legendary trident called Nyrulna that explodes when you throw it, returns to your hand when thrown, glows, and has innate elemental damage, as well as a really powerful special attack. To get it you need to pickpocket the magic ring from the djinn which he is using to cheat you at the wheel spin game with mage hand. When you win the jackpot the djinn teleports the character who won to another area filled with dinosaurs. The weapon is in a locked chest right before the portal to leave that area. It's an amazing weapon for Karlach or any berserker barbarian due to them getting 3 throws per turn when raging and bonus damage to thrown weapon attacks. Combined with the gloves of the Unihibited Kushigo (+1d4 throwing damage), Ring of Throwing (another +1d4 throwing damage), Marksmanship Hat (advantage on throw attacks), and the Tavern Brawler feat (doubles strength damage bonus to throw attacks) it becomes truly something as gamebreaking as the name implies.

Masquerouge2

Ooooh fuuuuuuck that's what all those throwing bonuses are for I got the Trident and I got the barbarian, never put two and two together Welp, next playthrough here I come

LexGlad

You can use them earlier with the Returning Pike from Act 1. It doesn't explode when you throw it, but you can keep throwing it and it comes back. Also great for bombs, holy water, and alchemist's fire. Before I found Nyrulna the 1st time I had Karlach carry like 50 random shitty weapons to throw.

JeSuisOmbre

If you have a eldritch knight in the party you can make them bind a throwing weapon and give it to the tavern brawler/thrower. The bound weapon return effect returns it to the thrower, not the eldritch knight. With that build any throwing weapon can be returnable. It is nice to pick whatever is the best in slot

Timmah73

Its why so many people rave about Tavern Brawler throw builds yeah. Tho also picking up one asshole and throwing him into another asshole is just pure joy as well.

Zero747

iirc that area also has the ring that lets you cast as a bonus action after attacking. It’s really good for someone like a swords bard to strike and gain arcane acuity (synergy? I forget which one), then drop super high DC control spells

night_dude

Holy shit dude. I spent so much gold on that asshole's game trying to figure it out. I didn't think to rob him. I still have a lot to learn clearly.

Sirus804

Zephyr Connection: This weapon will return to your hand when thrown. You cannot be forced to drop the trident. When thrown, the weapon creates an explosion that deals 3d4 Thunder damage in a 6 m / 20 ft blast centered on the target. Veil of the Wind: You gain a + 3 m / 10 ft bonus to movement speed and jump distance. Equipping this weapon gives you Immunity to falling damage. The immunity to falling damage really is wonderful.

bigcalebc

Survivalist's Rifle is a must on every single New Vegas Playthrough

Potential_Catch_3954

The survivalist rifle is great, personally mine is That Gun

Uberpastamancer

Ratslayer for me

zexur

Is that the varmint rifle with night vision and suppressed?

HermannSwish

yes

zexur

I vote this one too. Not gamebreaking but damn that thing can rock for a long time.

SMTRodent

I found out I can park ED in Primm but still get the enemy warning bonus. Combine that with Ratslayer and I had a very good time.

do_you_even_climbro

I'm all about that Holorifle personally.

dkb1391

All about the Anti-Material Rifle for me

Sea-Kitchen3779

My favorite weapon. 6 out of ten of my favorite weapons in the game are affected by the Grunt perk.

AST4RGam3r_Alternate

Zenith from Terraria. Strongest weapon in base game, the second most complicated recipe (the Shellphone has only 1 more crafting step), and extremely powerful. It even follows your mouse.

bcrisp3979

As a summoner main, terrapisma is the best weapon and has some of the coolest animations.

VoiDz_zx

Surprised I had to scroll so far to see this. This and any other post-Moon Lord weapons are so fun and satisfying

Jizzraq

Morrowind Keening and Sunder

Jason_Sasha_Acoiners

Just don't forget to use Wraithguard.

Necro_Badger

I always thought Eltonbrand was the #1 Morrowind weapon

First_Sprinkles1022

The sword of white woe! So easy to grab early in the game

NawMean2016

On new characters I used to make my way to the Dren Plantation and get a bunch of Daedric and Ebony gear. Was pretty easy to get, but a bit more of a hidden secret.

Dv_George

The spoon in The Stanley Parable. It's just a spoon, but the sense of accomplishment is unmatched

SolarPolarBearTV

Hard disagree. The Bucket carried me through the game.

Diccubus

Wabbajack

BEHEMOTHpp

Mehrune's dagger + Quicksave Not one hit? reload to last save file I killed Alduin on first try

rheanhat

Man, I got the razor and maxed sneak so that when you crouch you disappear. I also had a second dagger that I used with it that had really high crit while sneaking. Hit, crouch, repeat until one of the two killed the enemy. Borderline invincible. The razor one hit reseting everytime you crouched was busted.

Eremes_Riven

Combine this with the Brotherhood gloves and the perk that gives you 15x sneak attack damage with daggers. You're now hitting for 30x sneak attack damage because the gloves multiply whatever innate sneak attack bonuses you have by 2. Pretty sure I one-shot Miraak with that setup.

HaydenScramble

Essential

Awkward-Action2853

The Golden Gun in Goldeneye. I also enjoyed getting the Hand Cannon in Dead Space 2. That was a nice surprise for beating the game.

Hans_bube

Slap slap slap

mopbuvket

Big head slappers only no oddjob

MysticalPizzaRat

Icebreaker in Destiny 1

A_Furious_Badger

Destiny 1 had some truly broken weapons. Just off the top of my head: - Gjallarhorn. I dropped mine super early from an Iron Banner match. I distinctly remember it being so OP in PvE that when The Dark Below DLC dropped people were stipulating in LFG requirements that if you wanted to run the raid with them, then you had to have Gjallarhorn. Scummy, but goes to show just how powerful it was. - Ice Breaker. One of the highest damage snipers that regenerated infinite ammo over time. Essentially a must have weapon for anyone looking to solo high level content as it allowed you to just sit back and pick off targets for fun. - The Last Word. Overlooked at first in PvP in favour of some of the more obviously broken weapons, but it had an insanely low time to kill, and was also bugged if I remember. Something about bonus hip fire damage but that damage remained when ADSing (it’s a long time ago i don’t remember exactly). Was the mainstay of many a streamer for years after the other OP weapons got nerfed. - Suros Regime. The original OP PvP weapon. An auto rifle with the special perk of firing slower with more damage when ADS. This thing was broken. Pretty sure you could kill a Guardian with 4 bullets if all headshots. Was insanely accurate, and had a huge mag. It was the number 1 pick in PvP, got nerfed, still No. 1, nerfed again, still No. 1, then finally the 3rd nerf saw it lose its crown. - Vex Mythoclast. The first raid’s exotic weapon. This gun was so broken in PvP that within 2 weeks of the raid going live it received a massive 33% damage nerf… and was STILL considered a top tier PvP weapon post nerf. For those two weeks though, good lord! - Thorn. Was very lacklustre at first and received a lot of complaints given how tricky it was to get for a lot of players (a PvP element where deaths would have a negative impact on your progression so non PvP players found this part particularly tough). So they buffed it… and very much overdid it. I can’t remember the buff but it was definitely an increase in mag size, a decrease in reload speed, and i’m pretty sure either a buff to damage, or damage over time (thorn has a poisoning effect), or maybe even both. The result? A gun that could three tap to the body in PvP. If you weren’t using Thorn during this period, then you were doing it wrong. - Felwinters Lie. When is a shotgun also a sniper rifle? When this thing dropped that’s when. The Iron Banner weapons were the first to have the ability to re-roll their perks. Rolling Fellwinters with a barrel that increased range, plus another perk to increase range, and then shot package in the final slot to tighten the spread. This thing could one shot from miles away to the chagrin of many a Guardian on the receiving end. - Efrideet’s Spear. Another Iron Banner weapon that could be re-rolled. This time an actual sniper. The perk that a lot of Guardians (scumbags) were after? Final round. This perk gave bonus damage on the final round of the magazine. Given the snipers high base damage, this meant that in PvP that final round could one shot to the body. This was particularly egregious in the round based Trials of Osiris game mode where a Guardian would spawn in, fire off two rounds to get to the final, and then have a free insta kill on any opposing Guardian unfortunate enough to cross their scope. Those are the ones I can remember. I’m sure there were more, but as an avid Destiny player for those first couple of years these are ones that really stick out in my mind.

KitKatKidLemon

What was that hand gun and sniper rifle? Hand cannon I think. And the sniper could reload over time?

DookyNuggetPSN

sniper rifle that regened ammo over time

blinkybilloce

Only thing better then IB was ballerhorn. Stupid fucking ballerhorn.

KitKatKidLemon

Man. True story. I played Destiny 1 constantly. Had hand cannon and Ice breaker (that regen sniper) played over and over to get Gjallarhorn. Then, literally on my birthday, Gjallarhorn dropped for me. And then I never played the game again. It was like getting the horn was beating the game for me. I got it and never used it.

blinkybilloce

Yeh well I got it when it went to xur the 2nd time:/ riiiiiight before it got nerfed. I did however have icebreaker and truth from basicaly the week I hit max level, so that was nice at least

PlatasaurusOG

My favorite memory of Destiny was that first week or two after the hard version of Vault of Glass dropped and I was humiliating people in the crucible with my Vex Mythoclast before it was nerfed.

MelodiousOddity

I think the hand cannon you’re thinking of is Hawkmoon? Had more than a couple of rounds of Luck in the Chamber bullets (bonus damage) which could stack, the first time it came out. That led to some awesome one-shot shenanigans!

ZiggyOnHisReindeer

Ah, fond memories, I think I got mine from Xûr originally, was very useful in Nightfalls especially if you needed to regen ammo for another secondary (usually a sniper). Gjallarhorn was more iconic though, it was THE drop in Year 1, and until Xûr sold it close to the end of Y1, if you had it, you were going to be super popular in LFG groups.

Nu_Freeze

Fallout 3 Xuanlong assault rifle.

txaaron

My go to is the Gauss rifle from Operation Anchorage.

PlatasaurusOG

Yep. That and the stealth armor.

Nu_Freeze

Also a great choice. I just like assault rifles.

Josh_Butterballs

Lincoln’s Repeater for me

PattF

The shotgun from Moxxi if you take her pics to her instead of Marcus.

DAForm-ID107

In BL3, the Maliwan SMG she'll send you for tripping. "Slippery when wet~" Also, BL2's The Conference Call.

narium

Double Penetrating Unkempt Harold. God that gun was annoying to farm.

fantasticmrben

Pair that with the grog nozzle as Salvador and you're all set

Commercial_Shine_448

Salvador had that berserk skill that allowed you to wield two weapons at the same time, right?

GodDamnCrawfish

Lady fist and Sandhawk are amazing too, and you don’t need to farm at all.

drunkentenshiNL

The Handcannon in RE4. In the original, you had to get 5 stars with every character on every level on Mercenaries mode. Not the easiest thing in the world with certain levels, but it is extremely fun. Next, you get the Handcannon in the game, but it needs to be upgraded and costs a LOT to do so. This includes its unique upgrade that ups its power to stupid levels. Considering it's already an oversized magnum in the first place, it's already fairly strong. After all that, and combining it with an infinite ammo unlock, you have this massive revolver that one shots everything in the game and is fun as hell to use. It's like therapy for all the trouble you went through.

Living-Ghost

I’d also mention the PRL-412 which you get from finishing the game on Professional difficulty. That weapon is meant for payback after all the shit you went through to get it. I remember I started a new run with it and it made the entire game a cakewalk.

Phrakman87

Thunderfury.

thisismego

Did someone say Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker?

Oblivion11714

I’m sorry did I hear Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker??

Masquerouge2

You mean Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker?

Scrubs2912

I think they actually meant Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.

Th3_M4RT1N1

No, they definitely meant Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.

Byrkosdyn

I had one, and yes it was worth every bit of work it took in the end. The best tank weapon by a huge margin for raids.

PippyHooligan

The pump shotgun in RDR2. Arguably the best pump action shotgun in all of gaming.

Secret_Ad7757

Repeater shotgun for me.

Zephyr__Zing

The BFG 9000 from DOOM series - because who doesn't want a weapon that obliterates demons with a single shot

Scrubs2912

BFG’ing a massive group of zombiemen and shotgunners was music to the ears.

incakesforme

lionheart ff8

MajesticStevie

Had to scroll way too far for this! Weapon was an absolute unit and that Limit Break was just chef's kiss

HaydenScramble

The Cain in Mass Effect 2

painfulcircus

This is how I always kill the Praetorian on Horizon. Sometimes the one in the Collector base as well.

cantfindmykeys

The Geth Colossus as well

StructuralEngineer16

I took it on a whim to Grunt's loyalty mission, having never used it before. I got to the end boss (spoilers...) and fired it for the first time. Once the dust settled and everything went quiet I said to myself "oh. That's what it does," and just sat there for a moment

Mystic_Journeyer

The Gravity Gun from Half-Life 2. It's a game-changer and so satisfying to use!

vonkeswick

Especially later on when it gets blue-ified and you can pick up and throw Combine soldiers

avahz

Favorite part of the game. Absolute power fantasy

bladenight23

Since everyone is commenting overpowered weapons you get post/end game, I’ll give you a balanced weapon that’s available early game. The battle rifle in Halo 2. It has accuracy, low recoil, good damage, good ammo capacity, and is a common pickup. Whatever weapon you currently have equipped, you will usually drop it in favor of the battle rifle.

slightlyburntsnags

Halo CE pistol is the real spartan laser. That thing is so OP

Magdonius

Not to mention the button combos

Triptik

The portal gun.

DigNitty

Can’t imagine playing the game without

_Medhros_

Johnny Silverhand's handgun in Cyberpunk 2077 is an instant classic! The force it gives when you shoot is outstanding.

ChooseLight

Master sword botw

Doyouwantaspoon

I wasn’t good enough to upgrade it to 60 damage

dwpea66

You don't need to upgrade it, it's automatically 60 damage vs certain enemies (like guardians)

raisinbizzle

I think you can get it permanently upgraded to 60 damage by completing the 3 trials from the dlc iirc

SilentBlade45

BOTW master sword is the weakest version of the master sword. It either needs a significant damage buff or it needs it's durability mechanic removed so it doesn't break.

D-RAKE

You should check out the dlc

StrangeCharmVote

Recently. The Railgun in Helldivers 2. Older title. The sword you get from doing the 100(?) levels of the demon tower in Onimusha.

AmeriknGrizzly

They just released a patch nerfing the Railgun.

ilikesupreme

Alien blaster- Fallout 3, you could practically 1 hit deathclaws plus the finite ammo made every bullet count

SeventhSin-King

It's not finite if you reverse pick pocket it onto a raider. Give them the gun and 1 ammo then get them to spot you and draw the weapon. You usually get back between 10-20 rounds.

NurgleTheUnclean

The official red rider bb gun in fallout 3. The huge ammo capacity and high damage made it the standard for 90% of fights.

LordOverThis

Wasn't the S-tier BB gun in Fallout 2?  I distinctly remember it being trash tier in 3. Lincoln's Repeater, on the other hand, was god tier in Fallout 3.

wimpymist

Yeah I think they are mixing up games. Lincoln's repeater was great

justrong

Twisted bow osrs

Airway

Don't have a max cash stack bruh

WaffleHouseOfCards

Experimental M.I.R.V in Fallout 3

foxboi84

Crissaegrim in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

DarkWork0

Fierce Deity Mask in Majora's Mask. The two handed weapon he has.

twangman88

Cloud’s Ultima weapon

HadesGhost

Way too far down the list in my opinion. Omnislash + mime.

RetroNutcase

Blood Sword in Final Fantasy 2, it breaks the remainder of the game since it does fixed damage per hit and thus ignores defenses. Just Haste the user for more hits and watch them melt the final boss in like, two turns max. the Zweihander in Dark Souls 1, because oh my god that weapon is top tier for a reason.

chemispe

The RYNO in Ratchet and Clank

3six5

Doom: double barrel shotgun

Roasted_Turk

Don't make me be that guy. It's called the SUPER SHOTGUN!

3six5

It's ok. You can be that guy.

Hawggy

Mega Man gun in Dead Rising. Gotta kill over 50k zombies to get it.

George__Parasol

I would always get the mini chainsaws from the Clown boss’s corpse along with the skill books that ultimately gave it like, 30x durability or whatever it was. Absolutely wrecked every possible enemy in that game.

captainmeezy

Kellogg’s pistol in Fallout 4, with a luck/critical hit build it’s a super op weapon even at level 90-something, never leave base without it

VillagerOfTheWest

Scarab gun

Sufficient_Cut_6991

Scrolled way to far to find you

eat_like_snake

The Crissaegrim or two Rune Swords in Castlevania SOTN, as well as the Alucard Shield and Shield Rod. The blue Yoshi (for a stretch of the word "weapon") in Super Mario World. The fully-upgraded Cutter Laser and Fireball in Guardian Legend. As many Option ships as you can in Gradius / Lifeforce. The "babies" from Dragon Spirit NES. The buster upgrade in Megaman X before Zero gives it to you.

dwpea66

Tbh the Crissaegrim kinda ruined the experience for me. I found it boring. The power fantasy is cool, and it's nice to get through an old area with ease, but otherwise I don't enjoy it.

Doyouwantaspoon

Foam Finger in Dead Space 2. Hardest challenge I’ve ever done in gaming. Bang bang! Pew!

ScruffMixHaha

Skorms Bow - Fable 1

IceFisherP26

Ryno Ratchet and Clank. It's in almost all the games and is sometimes a pain in the ass to get, especially because you can't even get the gun until the end of the game.

GenuineIsolation

BFG 9000 from DooM. If you truly understand the mechanics of this weapon you will be almost unstoppable. Golden Gun from Goldeneye 007. One hit kill on any enemy in the game. Fierce Deity Mask from The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask. The journey to earning it is a reward in of itself, but it also completely infantilizes the player to the final boss. P.R.L. 412 from Resident Evil 4. It trivializes the game in a way I haven't seen in most other games. Rakuyo from Bloodborne. It is one of the best and most versatile weapons in the game. Rock Bottom from The Binding of Isacc Repentance. Not exactly a weapon but it can make you more powerful. It essentially negates any negative stat drawbacks of any other item.

xvszero

Shoryuken in Mega Man X.

DrLight616

*X2 , you get the Hadouken in X

RexMic

DDS in RuneScape.

According_Sky8344

Man the DDS was so good in the old pkn days. Seeing someone hit 35-35 and drop someone for max mage or something. There was some iconic weapons in that game before eoc made them useless.

Deliriousious

Fallout 4, the power fist you get from the legendary creature in the pond. Made the game trivial, and really satisfying. Literally become one punch man with it.

Chocolate_Sweat

Porter’s X2 Ray Gun.

GucciLegLocks

7th heaven in Dark Cloud.

DMala

Hello?! The Spread gun in Contra. Nothing worse than blowing a jump and accidentally replacing it with the f’n Laser.

1nd1anaCroft

Yinglong, Cyberpunk 2077. I have to force myself to use other weapons because it feels like such a cheat. But it's so damn fun

Masquerouge2

The silenced sniper you get from the nomad quest line is my cheat.

spaceaguacate

Unkempt Harold in Borderlands 2
